Thank you for that
So I take it that for our early morning start we could go from wembley to st pancras on the tube...then st pancras to stratford on the javelin?
This journey would maybe take an hour or so?
Our return journey would be Stratford to Wembley by tube?
Is that what you mean?
This journey would also take an hour or so?Dont you just love freshly congealed pigs blood, with a bit of fat in0 -

Yes, both journeys would be roughly the same time (the morning would be a bit quicker) but it's a much easier change from the Jubilee to the Bakerloo line at Stratford (assuming that's what you need). It's longer walk at St Pancreas as you're changing from underground to overground. So if the kids are really tired, tube all the way might be easier. But the javelin is great and definitely worth it, as you have to go on the tube anyway so the kids get both.
On another note, any out of towners planning a trip to Excel, half the fun in the DLR which is a bit like a toy train :T0 -

that'll be me. We're at the Natural History Museum before going to the Excel, so I believe our route is tube to Bank, then DLR out to the Excel.

Thank you very much for all of your help..it is very much appreciated, as is everyone elses assistance.
Just out of curiosity, do you think that staying at the Ibis at Wembley is a wise decision?
I dont know the area at all but I believe that puiblic parking, albeit payable, is readily available?... and the room is cheapDont you just love freshly congealed pigs blood, with a bit of fat in0 -
have u checked what else is going on at wembley that nite?
Fridays are quieter I agree - think it's flexitime bods, part timers,, and people working at home.
DLR for kids - make sure you get them on the front of the train so they can 'DRIVE!'Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -

You've got to stand up, and get the DLR back to Bank so you can go weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee when you go down the hill :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Make sure you watch out for the cable car that goes between Excel and the O2/North Greenwich Arena.0 -

A lot more went up today, I've managed to get me a ticket to the athletics - granted at the higher price band but it's perseverance i think, doesn't help that TicketBa*d are the ones running the ticketing website!Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0
