New Lloyds Vantage current account

Cant see any reason to be worried about going over £6000 as I would guess many of us lazy people often leave a few pounds over the £6000 although we dont get any interest on the amount we go over by! (so just like a normal current account)Why am i only getting £13.99 & £13.12 if you dont mind me asking what balance do you keep on the account to get the full amount? as i was scared to go over £6,0000 -
I've got about £6015 in each of my Vantage accounts because I'm too lazy to check them more than once a month when I do my 1K run after I've been paid.
After all, whats 3% on £45 even if I left it in all year? £1 ?0 -
I am so lazy I use standing orders to move my money between accounts. Some people seem to keep only £6000 in each account so how do they pay for the day to day needs like fuel for the car, food. goods and credit card payments etc. I just leave more money than £6000 in one vantage account to make these payments. How do other people organise these payments?0

In another current account, at a different bank/BS.0

I suspect that many MSEers, like me, use the Lloyds & BOS Vantage accounts purely as savings accounts.
I have set up DDs to meet the requirements of the 4% offer, and those DDs are 'active' but only for £1 per month to other savings accounts. I have a long standing current account with Co-operative which I use for all my normal current account needs

I started the vantage accounts just for savings interest, but it's handy using them as current accounts as well. Not danger of going overdrawn or of having a few hundred pounds sitting in a current account earning no money. They are also good for moving money elsewhere. A couple of years ago Nationwide took about 3 months to cash my cheque for a cash ISA. With a normal current account I'd be annoyed. With vantage I was happy to sit back and collect interest from both Lloyds and Nationwide.0

I use my account with the lowest interest 2.8% to top up my Lloyds/BoS accounts to their the limit. This means being aware of when deductions are being made and I also check all my accounts daily.0

Has anyone tried to open a new Vantage account with Lloyds recently? We have three in joint names and with the decrease in rates from Coventry and Nottingham I tried to open another one each yesterday. When I phoned to upgrade my Classic to Vantage I was told the system couldn't do it as I already had 3! Not sure whether to try again?0

The T&Cs say you can have a maximum of 3.
Try BoS Vantage or Santander 123 instead.0
