    Why is Tesco cancelling DDs?

    Is it because:
    • the DD has never been used? (How long has it been inactive?)
    • the DD is for a trivial amount? (How much?)
    • there are too may DDs on your Tesco account? (How many?)
    Just checked my Tesco account and there are 4 DDs, each of which pulls in £1 monthly.

    My wife and I have a total of 7 accounts with 4% Vantage. We have a total of 12 Tesco DDs. Both DDs on two accounts were cancelled. As far as I can tell there is not reason, but it has happened to a few of us.

    I have no idea if they were cancelled by Tesco or LTSB and to be honest I don't really care why. I am pleased LTSB informed me and gave me extra time to create another four DDs

    Have you checked that you have actually received 4% on all 7 accounts? I was only given it on 3 out of my 4.

    I had that issue with one of our accounts too and had to phone LTSB. I did discuss on a previous post. Surprisingly I did get 4% on both accounts where the DDs had been cancelled.

    How much did you have in your accounts, and for how long? For £6K in the account for all of December, the "4%" interest is £15.51.

    No reason to be scared to go over £6K - you just won't get any interest on any balance over £6K.

    just checked my tesco dd's and they are still all there....not cancelled as some have reported.

    just to be safe i've set up another £1 'one-off' payment to keep them ticking over!
