New Lloyds Vantage current account

I hadn't checked closely on mine, but you made me curious. However, my 3 accounts have the correct interest but the 4th account hasn't had for Jan and Dec. Which month was this applicable from Oct or Nov?0
-
All three accounts are missing Decembers interest which should have been paid 3rd Jan.0
-
Just out of interest, are people who set up their direct debits but not actually take money from their accounts still getting the 4% interest?
I set up direct debits with our Tesco accounts to take £1 each month from our accounts, just wondering if I can cease the transfers but of course leaving the DD in place.0 -
My 4%ers were all paid ok today (and my 3% BoS Vantages, yipeeh!). Got a mixture of accounts where DDs are being paid, and others where they are just sitting there.0
-
Today I have checked and the interest on all three is £15.51. I've phoned the bank and the adviser told me that the only thing she can think of is that it's paid per calendar month and December has fewer days than November! Even I can spot the error of her ways there!
All three were maxed at £6K with no drop below and all having the required DD activity.
Told to ring back after 8.00a.m. to speak to a different department.
Did you get a straight answer after 08:00?0 -
Interest recieved on all mine TSB and BoS.0

I wasn't getting my 4% - only 3%. This has been the case since October 2012. All my other criteria were in place.
I believe I have been mislead by the paragraph in the T&Cs, which does mention stuff about "if we keep paying you the 3% then it will be rounded up to 4% (and compounded too) and this will be done in November 2013".
The Vantage T&Cs, IMHO, do not clearly (and did not clearly) state that:
One had to apply to the bank, either by visiting the branch or telephoning in AND DO SO BY A DEADLINE DATE OF 31 OCTOBER 2012 so as to have the 4% interest rate applied to the Vantage account.
This fact is mentioned elsewhere (*), but not in the Vantage T&Cs.
(*) eg, see the Vantage Interest Rates Section, where 31 October 2012 deadline date is mentioned.
The deadline date of 31 October 2012 was clearly mentioned in the Vantage T&Cs as a deadline but only for having to have the two required two Direct Debits in place.
Unfortunately therefore, I have missed out on the 4% offer just because I didn't ring the bank and ask to be put on it and do so by 31 October 2012.
Arghh! Spit!0 -
I have 4 Classic Vantage accounts but just realised that the additional 1%, has not been added to my 4th account, I am just getting the 3%. Has anyone else with 4 accounts managed to get Vantage 4% added to all 4 accounts?0
-
The Vantage T&Cs, IMHO, do not clearly (and did not clearly) state that......
I am afraid, I don't think the T&Cs support what you are saying. It is very clear that you had to meet certain criteria, incl applying by 31 October 2012, not least because the offer was only available to applications from 10 September 2012 to 31 October 2012.
