I cycle £1000 though four accounts once a month in five minutes online in order to get all the relevant benefits.
:T Love your style.
Further Question RE: Multiple Vantage Accounts
I have a Classic Account and am planning to upgrade to vantage. In order to get another vantage account will I then need to open another classic and upgrade it again or is there another way?0 -

You need to open another classic account, then add Vantage.0 -

A loonng time ago I opened 7 of the Vantage accounts (when it was possible to do so before they put the "only 3 restiction" on it). When the top tier dropped off I transferred the funds elsewhere and then left the "dormant" accounts open for quite a while, then eventually closed all but one of them. Wish I hadn't as I now find a need for them as my Coventry rate's dropping in Feb, and although I've got a Santander one I can put funds into @ 3.20% it's possible that'll drop I guess. So I'm going to try to open another 2 Classic with Vantage accounts but I can't remember (if you do it online) if you have to open the Classic first then request the Vantage after. When I opened all of mine before, I had to go into the Branch to do so as (and those of you who opened them at the same time will no doubt remember this) there were some problems with trying to do it online.0

Just ring them up, they'll open an account over the phone within 20 minutes. Going to a branch can take ages.0

Has anyone tried to open a new Vantage account with Lloyds recently? We have three in joint names and with the decrease in rates from Coventry and Nottingham I tried to open another one each yesterday. When I phoned to upgrade my Classic to Vantage I was told the system couldn't do it as I already had 3! Not sure whether to try again?
Funnily enough,my wife was in town today and popped into Lloyds to enquire about opening more Vantage accounts.
As we already had three joint Vantage accounts she was surprised to say the least to be offered another six joint Classic Vantage accounts.
This was offered by the manager and an appointment was made for Friday to open them in branch.
We had tried to open more accounts online but were unable to due to T&C limiting you to three accounts, perhaps the Manager has some leeway we will find out on friday.
Will keep you informed.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
SIX! On top of 3 existing ones! That's like winning the lottery.
Fingers xed for you.
Be prepared to having to listen to some hard sales of all sorts of other Lloyds stuff.0
