4 days to go! Brought to you by Scooter with 4am https://youtu.be/-q6eLTuEeGc
£9.81 left to be added in interest to my mortgage! Ha! I’ve started pulling money in from places so I’m ready to make payment on Tuesday. I’m slightly anxious that I’m depleting all my savings but as I’ve said before (and others have said) with no mortgage payment it will be easier to replenish which will be my next focus along with pension.
Happy Friday all!

Hi @misslolu in 4 days I will have the savings to hand which makes me mortgage neutral but also on the same day I'm going to repay the mortgage. Originally I was planning to keep the savings for a while then repay but over time I just realised I wanted rid of it as soon as possible!3

3 days to go!
Brought to you by Arcade Fire with Neighbourhood 3 Powers Out https://youtu.be/GT1KNqLPNXM I love this album and this song is so great.
I’m trying to find my “joy” this weekend. Covid pandemic truly sucks. I’m running, doing chores, pottering in the garden and drinking gin. I might even take the car out for a drive. Taking each day as it comes, trying not to get ahead of myself (says she who has been progressing through a 100 day countdown! Ha!)

Hi @misslolu thank you! Unfortunately there is an ERC as I’m in a fixed deal but I’m reconciled to it and I still think it’s the right thing for me to do. I’ve always had fixes so I had certainty but had I known what I know now about the last 10 years I’d have switched to a tracker in 2014 and stayed there! Haha! I’m content with my lot though. I’m with nationwide and I made a substantial repayment last year and there was an ERC, but it was refunded 10 days later due to “my loyalty and unused overpayment allowance”, so Nationwide if your listening feel free to do that again!!4

Whew, I've been absent so long I was worried I'd missed it! Glad I'm back just in time to celebrate with you.
I bet the days can't go fast enough right now!
First non-mortgage splurge (by MSE standards)?MFW: Starting balance, Jan 21: £102,950
MFW21 Challenge #254 -
Hi @Ami-Rose I hope you are settled into your place now? Thank you for visiting me for the final countdown! It’s totally surreal! I’ve already done a splurge with a book I’ve wanted in forever but second hand for £12.80 delivered rather than £50 brand new! I can’t see me ever ditching my money saving ways. Not sure what my first proper post mortgage splurge will be, I’ve got an emergency fund to replenish! I’ll have to check my “post mortgage bucket list” and pick something!4

I'll be making a small OP on Tuesday, so I can be there in spirit! If it's not adding up, compound it!2
