I'm not acne prone either, I get 'congested' pores and my skin can get a bit haywire around 'that' time, I think it might just be a combination of timing plus the cleanser, I'm going to Liz Earle it for a couple of weeks and then try the Elemis on a 'safe' week then I'll know for sure.

I also wondered if it might just be a bit rich for my skin as I'm only 26.

Just popped on to say a quick hello! I opened the Box Of Doom from under my bed and found MORE things that I need to use up. I'm going to spend my evening updating my stash list and working out a strategy  At least I found my Weleda things that I need to UU :o

Maddiemay - it's really good to see you back :j It sounds like your holiday was very hard work

Moromir - I use the Elemis Melting Gel cleanser with no probs. I do get spots and other things have broken me out, but not this. (Weird!) I prefer the Pro-Collagen cleanser by Elemis but I got the Melting Gel stuff in a set and I'm using it up ok.

The thing that gave me the worst breakout of my life was the Murad Spot Treatment!   I'm fine with the cleanser in the same range but I had a hideous breakout all over my neck even though I only used a tiny bit of the treatment gel. Apparently it was the sulfur that did it - loads of people have had the same prob :(

Right. Back to the Grand Sort Out.

    hello everyone!
welcome back to all those who have been away - I will be away in less than 2 weeks, I CAN NOT WAIT!!! hehe

These will probably be my last UU's for August:

Prevage anti-aging night cream - very luxurious and the price ticket to match it. I got this travel size sample from a friend and a little did go a long way. I liked it a lot but felt it was a little too rich/thick for my liking

Clarins hydraquench gel fondant moisturiser - Lovely fresh scent, and worked very nicely as a day time moisturiser, but it left me wanting more. I believe this was £34 - not worth it in my opinion. As much as I liked it, I was not thrilled and at £34, I need it to thrill me. Sort of wish I never bought it, but now it is UU and I'm using a cheaper moisturiser this month in order to save money for my holiday

    so my IN is:
Garnier vital restore moisturiser - this is my first drugstore/chemist brand moisturiser.

    oopsy - forgot another UU:

Benefit the porefessional deluxe sample - I really do like this primer, it reminds me of my HG primer by DHC called velvet skin coat.

    Another UU this morning...

Tesco Hair Benefits Nutrivive Conditioner - This was nice, it smelt nice and left my hair feeling lovely.

Trying to be animal friendly with my toiletry purchases from this point onwards, so I probably wouldn't buy again due to that. But otherwise it was a nice product! :)

    UU

Olay Total Effects Stretching Cloth Mask x 1 - WNBA, these are ok as a wee treat but i much prefer the scrubby or sticky type of face masks. I feel they do more to my skin.
Comfort Zone Recover Cream, 6ml - WNBA, good cream but i didn't like the playdoh smell!
Batiste Dry Shampoo, Cherry, 50ml - WBA, love this stuff. So nice to give my hair a refresh before bed :) So i don't wake up a greaseball lol

    Well done!

That sounds like a lovely fragrance. It's a shame I don't need any shower gel for the next decade :rotfl:

I was only half successful in my quest. A friend phoned just when I had unpacked everything and was surrounded by boxes/chaos. By the time we'd finished talking I'd lost my oomph :o

So. I didn't manage to update my stash list but I did have a good look at everything and only had to chuck out two things (I feared it would be worse). I found things that I'd lost - the Weleda serum & moisturisers, a cream cleanser, my mini bottles of Eau Dynamisante...I'm sure there was something else. Oh well. :rotfl:

I now have a nice neat box with my most urgent Must Use Ups in. It means I'll have a proper, consistent daily routine. :D (Fingers crossed my skin doesn't rebel). Everything else is boxed up according to a system that prob only makes sense to me! :rotfl:

The best thing is that I definitely don't want to buy anything ever, ever again. (Hope that feeling lasts :D)

    Night night everyone

Back from Podiatrist and feeling sorry for myself. The freezing has worn off and it hurts like a female dog.

I've been staring at the NARS website. It's not helping. May need to hobble to the shops tomorrow for some retail therapy.

Will not buy eyeshadow palletes. but if they are in a GWP, I won't make them keep it.

Got back from Florida yesterday morning so am still a bit jet lagged. We had a fabulous time :D so I'm going to try and catch up for now :).
I have to own up to some ins. 2 shower gels and a shampoo bought to take away with us. Shampoo half finished and one shower gel half finished. The other not started but I don't feel too bad about the shower gels because we're really low on them :).
Hugs to anyone who wants them, birthday wishes to those with birthdays and general warm and snugly feelings to all my peeps I've missed whilst I've been away :D
