:T:T Well done on being smoke free tokkiandoliver - what a fab achievement. What a great way to spend you newly freed up cash!
I do hope you will get to do some really relaxing and enjoyable activities when you are away. I would be more than tempted to use that laptop
CatrionaP - sorry to hear who things are with you OH. I do hope what you are both trying helps.
MFN - You are on the road to recovery! It took me over a year on this challenge not to use the B**ts voucher. Well done for shredding it and enjoy that victorious feeling.
My UU's are stalling really badly this month. 2 UU's Elemis Balancing cleanser & Toner both 50mls. WBA as I really like these products. They are really nice to use, smell lovely and work really well for my spoty skin. I did get the 400mls size of each for my birthday.
I did have to go to Sally's today with a friend and I didn't buy anything! I am so proud of myself. I am now at day 25 of no bought IN's - th emost I have every done. I am feeling very confident that I shall make it to the end of the month :j.
Have a nice night everyone.
THANK YOU!!!!!:beer:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

INS for 2013 starting March: 80 -
I haven't posted on here for ages. Nothing bought this month.
A couple of UU's: LE's cleanse & Polish both the cleanser and the toner. The toner is nice but disappointed with the cleanser. Last time I used the cleanser was around 2006 and I think that one was better than the current one.
My soap bar from Espa is nearly used up it has lasted well over a year and I cannot wait until it is used up. I prefer shower gels.
Have a nice weekend. No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j0 -
OUT - REN eye gel. WIB? no, too runny and weird.
INs from car boot this morning - frizz ease curl defining spray and a bed head straight hair gel/moussey thing - dont have either of these in my collection (what there is of it) and they were £1 each so dont mind if they are rubbish !!!
well done everyone and hugs for anyone who needs them - Rosemary - just in case you sneak on when D?H is having a strop at some point, huge hug, hope you manage to enjoy yourself xxxxDo not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

Back from France and have caught up with the thread finally - couldn't face logging on yesterday after dodgy Channel crossing. Managed to UU 11 sachets including shampoos and moisturisers. The one I really liked was a John Masters serum - this was lovely and sank in really quickly. Wasn't as impressed with the JM day cream which seemed to sit on the skin a while and took a long time to be absorbed. I don't include sachets on my stash list but do add £1 to my challenge fund for every 5 sachets used. I also managed to UU the following:
Liz Earle daily eye repair - WBA - does what it says on the tin, sinks in well and is moisturising. Don't need any eye creams at the moment though.
Ultrasun SPF30 - face cream - WBA - I was really impressed with this range - none of us got burnt but have come back with a healthy glow.
Liz Earle orange flower body wash - WBA as I love the scent of this. Have plenty of s/gels left in my stash so won't be buying soon though.
Decleor SPF20 sun cream - this smelt lovely but was a 20ml sample size. Don't think I would be prepared to pay full size prices - WMBA uif I saw a good deal on it
Gationeau tan accelerator - don't think I started using this soon enough - I am still on the fence with tan accelerators but have to say that my legs do look more off white than normal. My legs never seem to go any colour other than Dulux brilliant white but I think I do see a hint of colour on them so maybe this does work.
Boots No 7 exceptional definition mascara - this was a sample size - wasn't blown away by it and found the brush a bit on the skinny side. Have lots of mascaras to UU before I need to think about buying any.
Have some splutterers so will hopefully manage to get a few more UU before summer is over....
Oh, and 1 IN from the shop on the ferry:
Thierry Mugler Angel Aqua chic - I had some spare Euros left so decided to treat myself to some perfume. I was good on the out crossing so think I did quite well only returning with 1 IN.0 -
Welcome back KiplingMonkey, glad you had a good time. I know what you mean about legs tanning, the sun just doesn't hit them unless you are prepared to sunbathe flat out for hours. Unfortunately (or fortunately maybe) my personality does not allow for long periods of inactivity unless asleep.
I have in's from the No7 half price make up sale:
Nail polish in Vivid Violet - at one time I could have justified this as I would have said I don't have many np's but can't say that now as I have somewhere in the region of 50:eek:.
No7 Poppy King Lip Crayon - 1 in skipping and 1 in smiling. No justifcation except they are lovely colours and feel nice on.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
Fashion on the Ration 28/660 -
Well done on shredding the coupons Mortgage reduction (think I will call you MRN if that's ok or something else if you prefer:).
Thanks. Yep no problem... that's what I get called on the MFW boards... I couldn't think of a snappy username when I signed up!!!
Face wash sputtering this morning but as always I will cut the top of the tube and be able to get two more days or so out of it.
I'm thinking about having a TOWIE themed party so that should us up the Jiffy Tan I have but don't use!!!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
Bit of a 'too much info' question but has anyone had problems with Elemis melt off cleanser or those oil capsules they do? I got them as part of a kit and a couple of timese I've gotten a couple of isolated but really nasty painful areas of skin on my face - it almost feels like cystic acne?
Thats all I can think of that I could have changed skincare wise.0 -
UU
Betty Hula Rum and Blackcurrant Body Cream, 120ml - WBA, lovely thick cream. Smells amazing
Boots Cotton Wool Balls x 100 - WMBA, i have never complained about cotton wool before but for every really good ball, there was a pathetic one which looked it had fallen apart already which annoyed me greatly.
Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector, Light, 1.5ml - WNBA, still prefer the Estee Lauder, just can't afford it haha
Allura Nail Varnish Remover, 400ml - WBA but im going to try the dip your finger in and twist ones from Poundland nextTotal debts = [STRIKE]£3116[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]2216[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£2066[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1916[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1766[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1616[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1466[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1316[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1166[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1016[/STRIKE]£866
