don't think I'll be checking in again until September - apart from at the airport this afternoon :D

My suitcase feels ominously heavy (only allowed 15kg). I have to pick my son up yet and we always share our clothes between the cases so hopefully we will be OK between the 2 of us. I have been through my toiletries and make up twice but my toiletry bag still feels heavy - I think the 400ml aloe vera gel may have been a mistake!

I think it's unlikely that I will completely avoid temptation in the airport shops but it depends on what our luggage weighs :)

Woo hoo, I'm finally up-to-date having just speed read the last 10 pages! :j Some interesting discussion on depotting eyeshadows and poor Rosemary, I really hope you're ok and holiday mends the woes. OH and I haven't been getting on very well lately, mainly due to him working shifts on his new job and having different days off etc and I'm hoping our hol next month will recharge the batteries and make us both feel a bit happier.

I never did get around to updating and posting my stash list this month so I may as well wait until Sept now and do it all in one go!

Its been a very quiet month for me, I've a couple more UU and IN to declare but totals remain very low in both areas - IN wise I've definitely stuck to the essentials this month but I'm often drooling online on what I'll buy for hols as soon as we hit Sept so I'm definitely not completely cured! :rotfl:

    IN:
OS White Pear & Avocado Shower Cream 250ml - Total bargain in Bodycare at 79p and necessary replacement so totally guilt free :D

Nivea Essentials facewipes twinpack - again another replacement and great value in HB at around £2.49

    UU:
St Ives Facial Scrub - WBA - did the job and good value

Primark 4 in 1 Gentle Wipes twinpack - these seemed a bit dryer than the last lot I used and therefore not as effective but at £1 for the twinpack I'd still BA if I was particularly poor!

Radox Moisturise Shower Cream - WBA - Nice enough for £1 in HB

Olay Regenerist Night Renewal Elixir - WBA - Really makes a difference to the firmness and texture of my skin. At 34, non smoker and mostly sun avoider, I had the beginnings of the suggestion of crows feet when I started to use this and its actually completely wiped those out!!! I got three bottles of this from the clearance shelves at Boots for about £7.49 each as they were in the Christmas packaging, RRP being around £25/30 each and its lasted since April I think it was with near nightly use. So great value even at full price, especially being so effective!

My original plan, prior to having tried it, was to use one bottle and Ebay the other two but soon saw this wasn't worthwhile as going for silly price on Ebay such as two bottles for £5?!!!! Surely must be fake at that price, Olay fakes it would seem are well documented having done a bit of research on Google. But as its turned out to be such a wonder product, I'm glad I've got a stash (am I allowed to say that?!!). :rotfl: Another two bottles should last me well into next Spring!

Thank you Willowbee, will try and relax a bit this weekend. Unfortunately the dogs woke us up early this morning. I have a lot to do today including, going to the royal mail depot to pick up a mystery package. Unfortunately next week at work won't be any better, have extra work as its getting close to our holidays and I don't have any holiday cover. Can't wait for my week off though.

awww hang in there, my work is killing me too. Hope you can find some time to relax this weekend xx

Totals for this month are UU 12, IN 6, tiny in comparison to previous months but 2 outs for every in isn't a bad rate! I don't intend to buy anything between now and Sept and I don't think I'll run out of anything I'll be desperate to replace in that time.

Makeup may be a slightly different matter though as I note an email from Boots about half price No 7 makeup, I really rate the Exceptional Definition mascara so may get one of those for hols and possibly a powder compact as I can see the bottom of the Bourjois one I'm currently using :D

Two uu today sort of. Clinique naturally glossy mascara and a mini No7 exceptional definition mascara, both of these have been on the go for 6 months now so have replaced them even though there is still product on the brush, not much though really, not like when they are new. Have opened a BS Big & Curvy from the stash.

Will have two ins sometime next week as i have just ordered two Figs & Rouge rambling rose balm on offer at Feel Unique at £2.62 each including postage. I really like this one although the geranium version and the mint lip balm they do both skinned over soon after opening with a very thick skin so i had to chuck them.

  • UUs are going so slow for me this month. I think I sold off more items than I actually used up, but I guess as long as it leaves the stash, that's all that matters, right? lol

I'm waiting for sleepyhead DH to wake up so we can go shoe shopping. Don't get too excited, it's for work shoes not fun/going out shoes. I am going to resist buying anything remotely beauty related, so wish me luck ladies!

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. This is my first weekend off in 2 months (I believe), so I'm super excited :)

How does everyone like the sound of a Fall swap? I was thinking of calling it the PUMPKIN PATCH swap. it will be conducted the same way that the last swap was conducted. Our last two swaps were so successful, that I thought that we should brighten up our fall days with another one :)

    Important Dates

Signs up start now and end on Sept 9th
Your pumpkin buddies will be drawn on that date

Posting deadline is October 1th, please have your packages posted by then and please retain proof of postage incase something happens to your package.

All packages should be at least £5 in value and only contain gifts that you would like to receive yourself (no half used products please) and of course stash shopping is highly recommended.

If you are interested, please email me and I will send an elfster link to the exchange :)

    Hello ladies!

Did I mention my only UU in ages: Oral B Pro-Expert toothpaste? No? Oh, well I have now...WNBA though - grainy texture, funny taste, a rip off of Sensodyne ProNamel and I don't think it's as good.

Other than that, things seem to be getting used up vvvvvvery slowly this month. Enjoy your pampering, ladies!

P.S. Forgot to mention 2 INs: Mitchum stick deodorants. Not counting these, though as they will definitely get used and they were only £1.66 or so each in Superdrug...they are normally a lot more!
