Morning Mortgage Reduction - Yes there will be a September thread but jump in now for the rest of the month, it's no problem.

Have several uu to report from the last few days:

SKin Wisdom Day Spa Rose & Geranium Bubble Bath - WMBA - nice smell and lots of bubbles.

Nivea Happy Time Shower Gel - WBA, really lovely, creamy shower gel with a gorgeous orange blossom fragrance.

Crabtree & Evelyn La Source shampoo and conditioner - mini hotel sizes.

Urban Decay Naked Primer - the mini which comes with the pallette - WIBA? Already replaced with a full size, fab primer but the mini has a very awkward applicator.

Vaseline aloe fresh deo spray - does the job fairly well, have several more in the stash but for now am replacing it with a sure spray.

    I think that was everything.

    Have a good day all.

In my personal experience, I prefer the UNII palette over z palette mainly due to these reasons:

    1. Customer service - Z palette sent me a nasty email in response to my email to them and a blog post stating how my palette fell apart. See....it is made out of cardboard, so therefore any sort of humidity or water will make it bubble up. I sent them photos, and they told me they wouldn't help me until I took down my blog post. Obviously, I kept my post and added that they tried to bully me into posting a dishonest review, which obviously is a huge no-no to any beauty blogger.

    2. The UNII palette is made out of hard plastic and looks extremely sleek and modern. It also comes in more colours and variations. Also, the UNII palette has a mirror inside which the Z Palette doesn't.

Hope that helps. Good luck depotting. I have had some depot casualties :rotfl:

That is super-useful, thank you :A

I didn't like the fact that the Z Palette was made of cardboard but I liked the see through window and it's a better size. Having heard how they treated you I'm definitely not buying it now! What bullies

The Unii looks great but it's a little small for what I wanted (which may only exist in my imagination! :rotfl:) It isn't to travel with but more to collect up all my odd-bod eyeshadows into one place so that I'm more likely to use them. More thought required...

I have bookmarked a couple of useful de-potting vids and will start with things that I don't care about too much! I'm sure the first couple will go wrong

I hope that your day is going ok. Well done for giving up smoking. That must be tough :o I'd be happy to cheer you on if you want to report in on each non-smoking day :) It sounds like a Chanel polish should be the prize for each week you achieve ;)

Have remembered another uu, S&G Big Butter in Blueberry. wnba, nice smell but left my skin sticky for too long.

The third item in my L'occitane set was a Cherry blossom shower gel, really like this one, typing this I feel like I have already said this though so apologies if I am repeating myself.

I'm thinking of de-potting some eyeshadows (). This is part of my quest to 'get organised'. (It will pass...) Can anyone recommend a good palette to put the eyeshadows in? I only know of the Z palette. Is there anything better? Any advice appreciated :D

Thank you for the words of encouragement. Yes, I am almost at 2 weeks smoke free and I treated myself to a chanel nail varnish in Frenzy (been waiting for this for a while) and a Dior blush. So 2 in's for me.

The z palette is slightly bigger, but the construction is not very solid for something that weighs a lot.

i have a UNII. its been well used and stood the test of time! mine is one of the super old ones where you had to physically cut and stick a mini magnet to each eyeshadow to get it to stay in :rotfl:

They sometimes do offers on where they give you one half price and so on. they send them out on their mailing list occasionally.

i used to prise mine out with a penknife and lost a few shadows along the way. as far as poss i do the old heat the plastic case from underneath with a hairdryer first trick. melts the glue so it comes off much easier. i woudldnt dare try the GHD method though, id be terrified of getting melting plastic on them! :rotfl:

realised today that my baggage allowance is lower than I thought it was. I thought it was 20kg hold allowance plus 5kg hand luggage. Turns out it is 20kg in total. Also had to go out and buy a suitcase as the zip is broken on my old one. And my small case isn't small enough to take as hand luggage so will have to take a small holdall instead.

If I took all of my stash I think that alone would weigh 20kg
