I think the identity of the hoaxers should be made public. Maybe someone will name them, even if not officially..

OK they are only 10, but that's old enough to know the difference between right and wrong. I think they need to learn that there could have been consequences to what they did.

I wonder if ten years from now these kids are going to look back and laugh.. "oo, do you remember that time we called the emergency services and pretended to be a 3 year old, and everyone got involved looking for the mum.."

As others have said, it's quite disturbing that two ten year olds not only came up with this but, mainly, went through a 33 min phone call without giggling or giving the game away!

Whoops should of read the the whole thread, was a hoax, some kids need to find something better in their holidays to get their kicks instead of wasting people times!!

Little bloody mares! They should have their ears clipped by their parents. The police should put them in the cells for a day!
