Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

A couple of English phrases for you.

    1) A fool and their money are easily departed

    2) You can't con an honest person.

Write the money off, chances are you would have lost it somewhere else.

Learn to accept that when it comes to buying and selling property, each £1000 is fought over by the vendor and buyer till a price is agreed.

No vendor is ever going to give you a deal of a lifetime because you have paid £4k to a third party.

Dear all I am facing the same and victim of this scam, can you please guide me through this and advice how to get the money back.
  • Hi all!
I am currently in the same position with Propsavvy. The reason why I signed up is because there was a signed contract and a money back guarantee that is of course admissible at court should anything go wrong.

I am taking steps to expose them in the media, I believe that we may not receive our money back but we should all come together to take them down. They should not be in business.
