I have noticed many of the athletes at the Olympics have make up on.0

Its pretty subtle (apart from the gymnasts of course), but on some of them you can tell if you look very closely! So clearly they must want to look like that too. Which makes sense. 0 -
I haven't read the thread, but I wear make up every day. I prefer the way my face looks with it on so I choose to wear it. Simple.0

don't wear it during the day, only a bit on a saturday night out (mascara lipstick) and that's it.0

I love doing my make up for a night out (as stupidly rare as they are) and still love the getting ready!
I used to have a full face of it during the day when younger too (I'm only 30 so not old lol) but never 'in your face' over the top 'trowel' type!I'd get fed up with doing that now tbh and feel happier with my natural features and skin colour but still wear make up if I'm going anywhere. It's just preening and taking pride in appearance to me (although, admittedly I had let myself go a bit after ex ran off:o but I'm very happy now
so back to 'me').A Korean BB cream (high SPF in it too),bit of Benefits Posie Tint and a dash of mascara and I'm good to go

Hang on, aren't we meant to be respecting everybody's makeup related choices? Maybe they're perfectly happy for it to be noticeable!0 -

Maybe.
There's also the possibility that some of the women we think "aren't wearing make-up" are in fact doing so. However, because of the way that they have applied the make-up, they have achieved a 'natural make-up free' look.
Recognising all of that is still respecting their makeup related choices.0 -
I notice if someone wears makeup or not but I don't think any more or less of them for it.Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0
