hugs....what a hard deciscion to have to make0

Big hugs 3Dogs. A really hard decision to make but you'll do what is best for the dogs because you love them so much, and that's why it's hard x I know Bess is older but in some ways I'd love an older dog if I were to have one, the idea of managing a young pup does not appeal at all, and I'm sure I'm not alone thinking that.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

For what it is worth I think you have made the right decision.

Thanks guys for understanding :A. I know what you mean Kerri as it is very hard work bringing up a pup
I will talk to kennels/rescue lady this coming week but will be going up to see Mam for Mother's Day so they will go into the kennels then and I would hope that they can be rehomed from there
Bess got a clean bill of health this afternoon at the vets, except for tartar on her teeth which can be expected at her age and being overweight. But when I first saw them about her weight just over a year ago, she weighed 10.9 Kgs and I checked her weight today at vets and it was 9.7 Kgs, half way to what they said she should be, so not too bad considering the time in kennels and lack of sufficient exercise lately
I have been doing more clearing in the bedroom tonight. I had cleared out two tall chests of drawers, and sorted out the things I was keeping into one of them, just inside the room. But I then decided that it would be best to get rid of that one, and bring the other chest from other side of the bed to use, so emptied the one I was now getting rid of onto the bed in piles as to what would go into each drawer in the other one. I then somehow managed to get this solid mahogany chest of drawers into the car to take to tip tomorrow, but it was very hard work  I stripped the drawers out and put them in separately, but even so the frame weighed a ton ..... but I did it, and all in the car out of the way
However, that means that my bed was covered in the contents  so I got the drawers out of the other chest and filled them up properly on the bed. I realised that I wouldn't be able to get the frame round the bed, and needed to get it over the bed, so decided to pile the full drawers in the bathroom out of the way for now. I then found out that the frame of this one was even heavier than the other, as it is taller, and I struggled to move it. I did get it near the bottom of the bed where I had cleared a space but couldn't lift it or tip it onto the bed as t here was no space due to wardrobe behind it and with it's weight too
So I came back into sitting room for an hour :rotfl: but will have to go back in now and do it, or I will not be able to go to bed  I am going to have to clear the bed completely, shuffle the chest to middle of bed and somehow tip it onto the bed and off the other side, then get it in place. I will have to put the drawers back into it too or I won't be able to shower in the morning  Oh, and then there is all the stuff that was piled on the corner which all fell over when I pulled the chest out from where it was
It seemed a good idea at the time, but was probably not the best thing to start doing at 8.30 at night when you can only do a bit at a time, then have a break
I will let you know how I get on :rotfl: :rotfl:Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12
