    Hi 3dogs,

Things are ok, started a new chapter of my diary as I had let things slip in every department and got into a rut with work, fitness, money, everything.

Maybe I needed a kick up the backside. Hopefully starting again.

I did not do the coast to coast as I became so unfit. However, I have been doing quite a bit of running and have lost 10lbs in 5 weeks, so hopefully in the future I will be doing the coast to coast. I am not giving up.

    Money Fritter

That's the sort of talk we like - good luck Frit x :D

I picked up Molly from the vets at 4.30pm and she was ok, but, naturally she didn't like having the buster collar on :rotfl: :rotfl: I have spent half the evening with her on my lap sleeping and the other half trying to stop her chewing the buster collar. She got used to having the collar on quite quickly but also soon found out how to 'push' it forward and get her bottom jaw over it to chew it

I am off to bed now so I hope she settles in her crate or it will be rattle rattle rattle all night, of the buster collar against the crate wire walls :rotfl: :rotfl:

It has been a good day today :D

So I'll say night night now - sleep well :D

Hi Spiralling[STRIKE]Down[/STRIKE]UP - I do think of you often as you have had a rotten time of it this last year. Losing her DH, you and your DS having to live with your parents in an awkward situation, with all the things you do for others. But then you got your new house and have settled in there :D You are amazing :A

I hope that the counselling, when you get it, goes well and you are able to 'move on' as everyone says :D BTW did your son get his appeal through on which school he went to?

We all need a Tosco glitch on tissues :o:o :rotfl:

I think you're the amazing one, I don't know if I could have held it together if I was in your situation. Xxx

DS and I are still sorting things out in the new house, this is only the third week we have stayed here and are still sorting out boxes in the sitting room and kitchen so we can have the dogs home soon would love to just put the boxes into the bedroom but mine is so full that I have a path to get into bed :rotfl: my main problem is trying to fit stuff from a large 3 bedroom into an average 2 bed house whilst keeping the important stuff, can't bear to look into the ones with DHs stuff so those boxes are just being marked and put to one side i'll get round to them in my own time.

DS has decided that he's happy to go to the school he got into, I'm glad because I don't think he would have coped well in a grammar school. I just have to go speak to them about concerns I've had about him to see if they'll help me more than his primary school did.

I'm glad you mentioned the vets, you just reminded me to put a reminder on my phone to book my cowardly lurcher in for her booster before the end of the month so thank you :). I'll also see if they'll do the big boys one at the same time even though he's not due until the end of September because that'll be one less thing to forget :o

Hope you sleep well and that Molly and her collar don't keep you awake xx

(((hugs))) SpiralingDown, it sounds as though you've had a tough time of it recently. Don't push yourself to sort through things too quickly, you'll know when the right time is.

    Take care

Thanks SD - I'm glad your son decided to go with the school allocated as it was one less battle for you to cope with ;) As for 'keeping the important stuff', one day you may realise just how unimportant some stuff is. It's the memories in your heart and that of your son that matter. Yes, there are some things you just have to hold onto, but they are just 'things'. Alan made me realise just wwhat I could get rid of - things I'd held onto for years and never used, never touched through 4 moves in 10 years - and most of it is gone now. I still have loads of clutter and living in a small one-bedroomed bungalow every bit of space counts. I can't believe how much bigger my sitting room is without boxes and piles of clutter  One day, when you are ready, you will get it all sorted and be at peace :A

No, Molly settled straight away and we all slept all night. She got agitated about 9am, needing a wee, so I let them both out in the garden, then back to bed till 12 noon :o

Actually, I have had to take Molly-s buster collar off her and just watch her all the time so she doesn't lick her stitches as she has perfected that trick of getting her bottom jaww over the bottom edge and chewing the collar. Plus trotting round as if to say 'look at me, aren't I clever?' I can't risk her choking or the collar cutting into her mouth, so it's best left off for now

    Gee thanks robstersgirl :o:o
