Morning Mandy, glad to hear Dom is sorted with his first car - what did he get? Insurance is so high for young people - my son in law is nearly 28 and passed his test in February and some of the quotes he got were crazy. Daughter is having lessons now (she failed a few tests when she was 18/19 and has started again now her hubby has passed and they have a car)
I honestly can't imagine what if feels like for you or Susan but if you need anything just ask.
Susan - hope the trip to the vet went well (If you managed to get out of bed)

Morning Mandy
Pleased you had a better day yesterday, I bet Dom is chuffed to bits with his first car - what did he get?
You're definitely not the only one having to deal with this but that's not going to make it any easier for you. From experience the best thing is to talk, so carry on, we'll always listen.
Hope you enjoy your lunch out today.
Take care hun

Hiya everyone - you will be pleased to know I got up in plenty time to get doggies to the vets for their 9am appointments
Quite proud of myself as I always needed Alan to chivvy me up to get out of bed, so glad to know that I can do it if I try
Bess had her injection, which is included in her yearly Vets Health Plan, and Molly is in for spaying. I have to ring about 2pm to see if she is ok to come home and it will cost about £140  including blood tests ........ but she's worth it and we have always had all of our dogs neutered. There's too many unwanted pups/dogs about to add to the numbers
It's quite a nice day so I washed some bedding and that's dry, second load, of clothes, is out there and the third wash in the washer now :jMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

I too had the moments while on the phone trying to sort out DH's accounts after he died last year when they asked for him to contact them regarding changes, I just ranted to them about how they'd have to reserect him for that to happen otherwise call in a medium to get them to ask him. :rotfl:
I must admit that the companies he had loads of debt with we're very helpful for a change and sent out SAEs for me to send them copies of the permission for burial certs then wiped the debt, but there was one CC company who he owed 14p to that are still hounding me, they can take me to court over it as they've said they will, I don't care
I still haven't sorted out DH's stuff, it's all sitting in my bedroom in the boxes it went into storage in, can't face looking in them.
I too feel that he's just going to walk in at any moment, it feels really strange that me and DS have moved and he won't ever see the place, I feel very angry that we had to move so soon after he died then have been living with family until we got this new house allocated to us.
I think the situation hasn't helped as I feel we've been in limbo for 8 months so think stuff's just starting to hit home now so have booked my self in for counselling but doesn't start for a few weeks, DS is being referred to the child development team for some anger issues.
I think I should remember to have a box of tissues handy at this time of night if I'm going to post about this stuff because now I have a very damp pillow from all the tears
I hope you get some sleep tonight Susan
Hugs
Julie
Hi Spiralling[STRIKE]Down[/STRIKE]UP - I do think of you often as you have had a rotten time of it this last year. Losing her DH, you and your DS having to live with your parents in an awkward situation, with all the things you do for others. But then you got your new house and have settled in thereYou are amazing :A
I hope that the counselling, when you get it, goes well and you are able to 'move on' as everyone saysBTW did your son get his appeal through on which school he went to?
We all need a Tosco glitch on tissues:rotfl:

Hi 3dogs,
Things are ok, started a new chapter of my diary as I had let things slip in every department and got into a rut with work, fitness, money, everything.
Maybe I needed a kick up the backside. Hopefully starting again.
I did not do the coast to coast as I became so unfit. However, I have been doing quite a bit of running and have lost 10lbs in 5 weeks, so hopefully in the future I will be doing the coast to coast. I am not giving up.
