I decided not to risk driving home today as the weather is very bad and seems to have been for the whole journey. I heard them earlier advising people not to travel if not necessary, this was Yorkshire I think, so I think I made the right decision

Just having a lazy day before going down to see Mam at 4.30pm with my sister

Hope everyone is ok. Haven't heard from MandyLou for a while have we? Thinking of you hun :A

Very sensible not to drive home 3Dogs, the rain here in Yorkshire has been torrential. One of my bosses gave me a lift to the car park it was so bad and I got soaked just getting out of his car and into mine :rotfl:

They are cutting my hours a bit at work but that pleases me and I will get more time at home earlier in the day (was working 12 - 5 will be working 3 - 7) means I can have my lunch at a sensible time instead of 11am. OH doesn't get home from work until 7:30 ish himself so it suits us better. It will mean a few pounds less in the wages but I recon they will want me to do extra hours in the run up to Christmas anyway.

I also have a weigh in tomorrow - will have a big weight gain too. :D

don't blame you for not driving, we've just driven home from Lancs and I was not at all happy in the rain, absolutely torrential and very scary on the motorway - I was actually considering pulling into the services and booking in for the night. Thankfully it cleared up, I'd have been a nervous wreck if it had been like that for 3 1/2 hrs

Think that was a very good move not driving back as the weather has been awful.
Beanie ...that's not bad if you were expecting more
