Another day, at least the sun is shining. I haven't managed to do everything on my list, felt really deflated after coming back from charity shop. But on the other hand I got great news after calling employer's tax company, as I have 2 bosses and getting 2 sets of payslips I'm elligible for 2 sets of SMP. A huge weight shifted from my shoulders, now I can see myself surviving while on maternity leave and not getting into more debts.
I need to call INland Revenue today, I think they made a mistake regarding to tax bill and I shouldn't need to pay as much as they stated.
Yesterday's to do list:- [STRIKE]call Inland Revenue re foreign income tax[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]call employer's tax company re maternity leave and pay
- call Sainsbury's and find out loan balance
- pack up rest of stuff and take bags to charity
- collect argos reservation (mattress protector for cot for £1.99;))[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]go to pharmacy[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]shred old tax papers[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]post office[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]swimming in the evening[/STRIKE]

I haven't called Inland Revenue and can't do it now as landlord is here happily painting the flat. I did however found out the balance of Sainsbury's, it's £13616.39 including 2 months interest. So signiture amended, I might try to bring it down to £10000 before I go on maternity leave. It will be a challenge but I need something to focus on. I have a couple of items on Ebay going, I hope I will hit the £500 mark by the end of the month-will use that money to pay towards loan.0

Congratulations on clearing the Lloyds loan, and what a lovely woman on Freecycle to give you all that stuff!
That's great news about the SMP as well. Must be a relief."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi Kavics,
So sorry to hear about you losing your OH, I had wondered where you had gone to as you haven't been on the pregnancy threads for a while. I know if you ever feel like popping back on we would all love to chat to you.
Congratulations on being team pink.
Finally well done for being so brave and strong to be carrying on with your debt free journey and trying to do your best for you and bubs, so many would have faltered and stalled xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx

Hi Ikkle,
Nice to see you here. I am not ready to come back to the pregnancy thread, I doubt I ever will be. You were all there when we were TTC, than when I had my BFP, when OH became so sick and for the first 14 weeks. The pregnancy thread is such a happy place, and frankly I am everything but happy. I will update though, at least will try.
Newleaf, going swimming in 10 min. I try to go 4 times a week. Than will clean kitchen and off to see Olympic Football at Wembley. I supposed to go with OH and asked his best friend to come with me. He came with me to Poland for the funeral and his support was and is invaluable. A sad day ahead of me but exciting to see an Olympic event.0 -
So yesterday was very emotional, I cried and cried or just swallowed my tears. Every minute I thought: this isn't right, he supposed to be here with me, he supposed to sit next to me. I felt very overwhelmed and after the match (which was good) just made my way home and had an early night. I'm still teary, little girl is kicking and I just wish he could feel them...0

Kavics you are one very strong lady, I get tears reading your posts.
I hope you find things to do today to keep you busy, swimming will be very good for you to keep exercised during your pregnancy.
Just think how soon a big part of him will be back with you in your arms and I am sure teaching your baby girl to swim will give you great pleasure.
2 lots of SMP will certainly help youNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Kavics, so sad to hear your news. It was lovely to share your TTC journey.
Words seem inadequate, but it seems you have some great support around you. Make sure you make the most of the kindness of people (like the freecycle lady).
One day your daughter will realise all you have done for her & the memory box will help her know the person her Dad was.
