Ryanair sent me incorrect boarding pass

I know this has nothing to do with Ryan Air but I made an online booking with Travellodge, printed off my paperwork and turned up three weeks later and presented by photocopy booking to the hotel clerk.......................no booking showing on their computer! My paperwork showed I had arrived on the correct day at the correct hotel and paid the correct money. They checked other local travellodges but no booking for me.....they did not even have an empty room......stranded. Took matter up with Head Office who first of all did not take it seriously until I sent them over copies of my paperwork. The technical side confirmed I had been sent an email at the time and date of the one I had received but their system showed it to be void of any written contents....so a definite glitch. I did get a refund and a free weekend but after a 300 mile drive I would have preferred to put my head on a pillow that night
Sometimes the computer really is not right.SallyD0 -

Though I wouldn't suggest Ryanair don't love the side-effect being they get extra money, it's a pretty standard thing for several airlines I've flown on (no idea if it's industry standard or not though) - whether they charge for check-in/boarding pass reprints or not.The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

Does anybody have a contact email or phone number for a person I can discuss this with at Ryanair? They make it very difficult.0

Unfortunately I think you are going to have to put this down to a bad experience and just accept the €120 charge (fine ?).
Ultimately it is up to the passenger to ensure they have the correct documents required to travel. I don't really care too much for Ryanair but it's pretty difficult to blame them on this occasion.
I always save my boarding passes as PDF files then upload to Dropbox so I have access to them from anywhere (with internet access).0 -
But a very simple check would have identified this and prevented all the problems further down the line.
Be honest, do you think Ryanair did provide the wrong documents ?
I like to waste my time making up elaborate lies. Yes, of course I am sure they did!
I certainly won't be using them again. I flew out with Monarch which is very similar in price and they did all the check-in process for me. Plus I didn't have to queue for nearly as long. On-line check-in doesn't ease waiting times and is more of a headache. Unfortunately I got burnt before realising Ryanair's service is actually as bad as Michael O'Leary quite openly suggests.0 -
Can you replicate the "fault", and can you find anyone else that it has happened to? If not, you have no chance of getting your money back.0

I'm certainly not calling you a liar but there is always a chance of human error. I have not heard of this happening to anyone previously so my conclusion is that it is 'unlikely'.
Also it will be pretty much impossible for you to produce enough evidence to get Ryanair to cough up your €120. You will need to prove what you are saying is correct and I'm not sure if you can.
Anyway best of luck and let us know the outcome.0
