Really pleased for you yesterday - did you get to see a silver and gold?
Nah we were there the day before when the British guy didn't qualify, had a good time though.
Today I have picked the rest of the blackcurrants blackcurrants - should have done this a few days ago really - made the cake - lovely and I bet the kids wont like it, even better for me
That's it, oh know I did the ironing :rotfl:

Dusty I bet you enjoyed it more for having seen what they do. My DH used to do competitive kayaking *coughs* 20 plus years ago so he really enjoyed it.
I am pleased to report that waxing the dresser has taken the marks off from using it as a temp store cupboard during the building works. Result!'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

SpiritJoined Slimming World originally in December 05 at 17st 9lb and then followed a very hilly route. I now weigh 11st 12 lbs. Whoops, I'll now have to confess to being 12st 12lbs.:o0 -

Hope your Stepdad is going to be ok Piggers. X
Huge hugs for Boosymoo and Dragonette...it's been a bit of a week it appears, maybe the big ol'moon had something to do with all the upsetting stuff that's been going on.
Myself, I'm drained, feel a bit unwell but hopefully will be better tomorrow. Managed to meet with an 'official' person at my home on Thursday, I'd managed to kick over a full glass of red the night before.
Being Oldstyle I quickly found some stale white wine to cover it, then salt.
I then decided to look under the sink and there in glorious technicolor was the brand new bottle of Shout carpet stain remover especially good for red wine stains!:wall:
Anyways used that as well and it's almost gone, trouble is I now have a clean looking patch of rug which delightfully highlights just how
mucky the rest of it is.:o
But the house was respectable ish for the visitor.
Some good news, my eldest has today got herself a full time job, it's in a call centre but it's her first full time job.:DDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Just got a couple of things on my own list to finish off, all in all I feel like I have had a really productive week. I have decluttered the living room, hallway, bathroom, dining room, landing, DS bedroom, I only have the kitchen and my room to do!! Having a good clear out will hopefully make cleaning a lot easier now.
Thank you ladies for giving me the inspiration and motivation.
However, so much decluttering has been going on that I will have to make another trip to the dump.
Hope you all have a good evening xDeclutter 100 things in August 68/1000 -
