Pigpen, I can tell you that Leicester is a fab hospital for heart conditions (is he in the royal, LGH or glenfield?.. they're all great, the food varies though!) I hope he's okay.

Pigpen - I hope that your SD will be okay. At least he is in the right place. Hope that the party day goes exactly how you would hope.

I am still wide awake thanks to mouse angst!! Trying to use the time productively by making various lists. You never know - maybe I'll get around to doing some of them.

Lame Wolf: your comment about getting the dog's and OH's dinners mixed up reminded me of the ad on tv where the mother gives the baby the dog's dish!

No idea.. I've only had very brief text messages from my mother.. he will be nagging her to take edible stuff in if it is crap food though lol.

I am officially dead.. what started as a cold is now threatening to kill me! I feel like I have an elephant jumping up and down on my chest, I've lost my voice which I thought I might.. drugs scoffed.

Bodes well for todays party doesn't it?!

Birthday pest was up at 5:30am and has screamed ever since. Dot was up at 6 but has gone back down after a mammoth feed.

Pigpen hope your SD is better soon. Now enjoy the party today for miss squeak you've worked so hard over the last few weeks in the house to make it nice.

    ''Happy birthday to you,
    Happy birthday to you,
    Happy birthday dear squeak,
    Happy birthday to you.'' :j

Triker fab news, well done to your DD. :T

Right today is more bedding and i need to go over DD's list of things she needs for going away. I'm hoping she doesn't need anything new. :o Must go and get more coal today and i might do abit of a tip run, it's all up the same road. I think my sister, BIL and miss eva are coming up today plus i plan on doing something with the kids tomorrow. Likelyhood is i won't be back for an update so i'll see you all on the new thread.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Morning all. I've not read through properly to catch up but hugs and healthy vibes to all those who need them.

My list for today in no particular order except for first one:

Find out what the horrible smell is in the fridge
    Eat
    Shower
    Walk dogs (weather permitting)
Cut grass & weeding (weather permitting)
    Unpack
    Clear hotspots
    Sort out recycling
    See how much I've spent
    Menu plan
    Food shopping
    Vaccuum living room
Get up to date with washing

All I've done so far today is have a cuppa, made packed lunches for those working today, fed the dogs and sat on the computer. Have ordered dog food though while sitting here.

List all to be done by 3pm is my target, as I then want to sit and read my k*ndle.

    Catch up later.
Spend less now, work less later.

Happy squeakday to the birthday girl!

Gosh, don't they grow up quick, we are just a month behind you, little moo nearly two as well!

Tots followed me into the bath so I had to get out. Little monkeys. Anyway, we are all clean, fed and dressed. Both screaming as they have just bumped heads, he's trying to give her a ride on his back. Oh dear.

HHI done, and their overnight bag packed. Going to a party this aft then dropping them at inlaws as they are going to a christening tomorrow. Then I'm coming home and painting the dining room... Only walls to emulsion and radiator to spray, so shouldn't take long. Everything else is done.

It's been crying out for it for over a year, but what with dh getting ill and everything it never happened. So that's my Saturday night, yippee.
