Morning All
I've been to the climbing centre this morning with the kids but we've got to go back later. DH is at home today but in a foul mood because he's tired but he's gone to play snooker for an hour now. M&D's for tea so I'll drop the kids off there about 3.30 and then come back and have an hour to myself before I go up as well with DH.
Anyone fancy joining me for a HHC @ 11.30?NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Bossy, so sorry to hear of your upset last night, and glad things are easier this morning. Hard as it is, it is healthy for DS to talk about his dad, and to get upset. If he doesn't it will build up inside and come out sometime, best it comes out in dribs and drabs, iyswim. My DS bottled up his feelings when my partner died and it took a long while to unravel (he was 8 at the time though, so older than your DS). Also boys are very protective of their mothers, so he is probably worried about you as well as himself, even at 3!! Boys are funny creatures reallyAnyway you know where we are for future wobbles xxx
Great news about Ed, I had a tear in my eye when I read he had sung to his mother so I can only imagine what state she was in :A
DD is moaning at me, so I'm off, for now.*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0 -
ive just been back reading and had to come in with hugs for Bossy and her children,
LW hope you are feeling a little more confident than you were earlier in the week, hugs to you as well
hope the poorlies are starting to feel a bit betterSPC~12 ot 124

Hi all.:hello:
Gosh, I'm late logging on again.
Bossy I've only just seen your post from last night; I wish I could make the pain go away, but only time will make it all bearable. What can I say – life doesn't do “fair”, unfortunately.:( Nevertheless, have a (((HUG))) for you and your two littl'uns. I don't have any adequate words, but you have plenty of virtual friends here, and you know you can come talk to us when coping isn't going so well.:o
Dragonette, Badger and any other new Flyers fretting over not doing “enough” - BABY STEPS!!If you're doing a paid job as well, or if like me you're in poor health, you can't possibly get every job done off the list every day. It took me a long time to realise this.:o
For what it's worth, I've washed a couple of pairs of Mr LW's jeans, and I'm just Level One-ing the bedroom and spare room today, as I'm still unimaginably tired; and I have Jessie to look after as well (black dog hair, anyone?):D I also need to have enough spoons left to cope with seeing the physio-terrorist at 09:00 tomorrow.
Actually, Jessie's a beautiful lass, with the sweetest nature; she just wants to be friends with everyone, and have lots of fuss, and the occasional game with her tug toy.:D
Helen GWS mate – chest infections are the pits! You too, Rowan tree.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon all
Bossymoo heartfelt love for you sweetie. You didn't choose this path you and the little moos are travelling sweetie but you are doing so well. It isn't fair cause sadly life isn't and you've been given a real rough deal. xx
Kids are driving me mad with their bickering today. Dental checks done. Ironing done. Lunch next. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Flip i've lost hours in the boys bedroom ((again ))) so i've gave them a smallish plastic box each and told then to fill it with there faviourate toys and thats it the rest can go into a shed outside. The smallish boxes will fit under their beds. At least then i can swap the toys over every couple of months.
All clean clothes have been folded and put away. WM back on with bedding, still have another few load of bedding to do and then i can remake all the beds tonight.
Kids all been fed and they cleared up after so one less job to be done. Gonna grab a coffee and get the dw emptied and then away to see my dad.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
I can now see about a 2 foot square piece of carpet in DD's bedroom!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Just have to say the support and advice on here truely is amazing ive just caught up on last 2 days and had to scroll to the top at some point to check I was on the right thread .... Fab advice I will be taking is not to put pressure on myself if I can't do them all this week I will do what I can, working fulltime and having a 5 year olds social life can almoat take every spare minute without slimming world, cooking being a mum, wife
friend, stepmum I try n complete everything set then pack it in cos I miss a bit.
Saying that my downstairs is shining upstairs to finish over weekend then to start afresh monday .... You lot r fab !SW loss 7st 4lb
