    Hi everyone,

Just a quick question, does anyone know how long the Bank have to pay me the money if they were issued on the 2nd May with a Judgement Order and asked for payment immediately on the order? before I have to send the Bailiffs in.

(Or would I contact the Banks solicitors in the first instance) I have heard nothing from the Bank!

PS. Keep Faith and good luck to all the recalimers out there! Thanks for all you guidance and help!

ive no idea - although what i would do is ring moneyclaim (if you done it through them) see what they suggest or possibly contact there solicitors and say you want to hear whats happenin with your claim and if they cant tell you you will be sending in the bailiffs - worth a try - let me know how you come on as i got a judgement issued against LTSB yesterday

i'd heard this however my friend who got her judgement issued yesterday asked the lady at moneyclaim what happens next - she said normally we ask that you give them 1 week to responde or pay up, if they dont within the week then you can send in the bailiffs.

now i dont know whether that advise ref bailiffs is cause moneyclaim then get a further £55 when you go down that route i really dont know

has anybody sent in the bailiffs before?

there should be a date on the judgement order (to clear on or before XX of x month) after that send 'em in.

A Bailiff will take "walking possession" of a debtor's assets and indicate that if the judgment debt is not paid within, say, a fourteen day period, he will return and take the debtor's assets, sell them at auction and then forward the net proceeds of sale to the judgment creditor. Bailiffs cannot seize living items such as bedding, clothing, pots and pans, furniture, household equipment or tools of trade. They cannot seize any goods on hire purchase or belonging to someone else.

In order to send the Bailiffs in, it is necessary to complete "A Request for Warrant of Execution" form and to pay a fee.

A Court Bailiff cannot force his way into the Defendant's home or business to seize goods.

  • I can't believe it - after hearing all the cases on MSE i was sure that they would but they haven't acknowledged my claim!

There 14 days was up yesterday and i waited up until midnight to put in for a judgement by default.

I was just wondering if anyone knew what would happen now?

I requested immediate payment - how immediate is that?

Anyone else been in this position with lloyds?

    Firstly, congratulations.

Secondly, is it just me, or are we beginning to see more default judgements in the past few days? Could the fact that the courts and judges are now also thoroughly p*ss*d off with the banks and credit card companies have anything to do with it?
