I have suggested a motoring board, because lots of the threads left on 'your tips' are about motoring

I think having too many different boards can be counterproductive and lead to duplications and confusion over where to post things.

The Travel, Trips, Holidays and Days Out Board could easily become the Travel, TRANSPORT, Hols and D O board. This would solve the problem of where to put all the tips about motoring etc and avoid the need to introduce a new board which may have a limited audience.

I personally think the fewer boards the better. :-/

Sorry, Jo_b, but I disagree. I don't have time to read all the Forums, and some I don't have much interest in, for one reason or another.

So I don't want to have to read through a load of messages in one over-comprehensive Forum just to find the odd thread which would be relevant to me.

I'm all in favour of a motoring forum, a health forum, etc., so long as they are about saving money!!

It's simple to scroll down through the list of forums (fora??) to find those that you need at any time.

apologies for 'dragging' this up but when i clicked new posts it was in there! i don't know how.

anyway it is interesting because everyone is making HUGE fuss about the left hand margin in 2004.

in 2007 everyone is making a HUGE fuss about the right hand margin ;)

Sorry haven't read all the posts, in case this has been mentioned, but what has happened to the buddy list? It gives me the green or blue buttons but no names? Can't see if my mates are online
