Thanks DD and Hannah, I'm going to make it a resolution to keep on track by posting regularly. Esp as things have slipped by the wayside.
Absolutely exhausted tonight after being busy all weekend. Did a major declutter of the upstairs, under my bed was horrendous, its a divan and difficult to move as my room is not very big, I swear the dust was an inch thick . Got lots of car boot stuff now and must drag myself out of bed on the next sunny, or at least dry, Sunday and get it shifted.
I went through my masses of unused beauty products and put together Christmas boxes for my Mum, Sis, Sister In Law, best friend and Bob's Mum. Only the boys to buy for now. I was such a beauty box addict and don't regret cancelling them all, I dread to think how much money I wasted. I swear I'm a junkie though, I always look online and see what was in the box I 'missed' haven't been disappointed yet!
Going to stay home tomorrow and make debt busting progress as it has slipped. Going to get a lot more business listings up and do a bit of promotion, I've been doing the bare minimum whilst I work on my project and need to get things moving. Also need to list a little antique, I've had it valued at £250-£350 so am going to stick it on ebay with a BIN/Best offer and see what happens. Must also chase up my PPI claim, pay in a cheque I discovered, return my dodgy lightbox and post the bits I sold on ebay.
Off to have a shower and pass out on the bed. Will catch up with diaries tomorrow.
BC xx
Total Debt 21st October 2012: £11737.03, Total Paid: £0
Consists of real debt: £5737.03 and preventing future debt fund: £6000.
PFD is to let me have a shot at my dreams when I graduate without digging myself back into a money black hole.
Hi BC, you sound like you've had a productive weekend!
You've done really well to get those gifts sorted. I've been thinking along the same lines. So far, I've come up with a pack of Swarovski Ice pencils which will be going to my SIL as part of her Christmas box. She's trying to set up a jewellery business so she could use them to work out some designs if I get her a sketch book to go with it.
Good luck with ebaying your antique. I hope you get the best price for it

I found a disgusting amount of dust when I moved. I was sneezing for a week afterwards! I felt disgusting! eek!
Well haven't I been a naughty girl, I've not been on here forever!
Firstly a valid excuse, I was struck down with a nasty viral infection, 3 weeks in bed and a 2 days in Hospital. Not fun, it left as quickly as it arrived and I've been feeling much better but panic set in. Those weeks hit my earnings hard and also left me with a massive pile of work to do. Bob and I have suspended house moves till January at which point it absolutely must happen.
Somehow I managed to slice nearly £2K off my debt in this time! I'm still trying to figure out how that happened. I've decided on a fresh start and looking at the picture from now. My 'debt' figure now includes all the extra cash I need to see me through Uni as that will become a very real debt if not saved and I'm aiming for a £6K slush fund ready for when I graduate.
Another piece of good news is tickets home for Christmas are booked and paid for  I can't wait to go home and see everyone.
Have loads to do, loads to sell and lots of opportunity. I've suspended moping around as of today and am going to look forward to a better future.

Really enjoyed reading your diary BlueCrayon, you're doing really well! Sorry to hear about your stay in hospital but on the plus side nothing shifts the pounds like a viral infection. I kid.
