I've also decided to realign my views on treating myself. From now on I'm going to treat myself to the life I want, a life free of debt where I can work towards my dreams. For the first time since I left school I'm going to be in control of my future.
Hi BlueCrayon
I'm a re-initiated former lurker and catching up with some new diaries - your above statement was really inspiring to me! That's definitely something I also need to bear in mind.
I did get a cheer from the lads next door, once they stopped laughing, as I was wearing a white t shirt and a rather sheer bra, apparently they'd vote for me . They were only drinking fosters which is good progress from Kestral so I think the running is working.
Sorry to laugh but. Love it Xx
I'm in awe of you forgetting about chocolate though!!!!! I'd NEVER be able to do that .

Snozberry: I still get a tickle and think those nasty little bugs are crawling over me _pale_.
Been a spendy day today but I've still been pretty good, went into TK Maxx earlier, this is never wise. But managed to find a gorgeous little silk nightdress for £1 in the final clearance from £49.99! Nice to have something other than my disney character pajamas for when I get back on the dating scene. I don't think Eeyore goes down to well in the world of seduction. I also got a small notebook set for my handbag, I'm always writing notes on scraps of paper and convinced myself I needed it. The notebooks cost £1.49 so it was only a £2.49 splurge and a lot better than my past efforts. I did manage to resist the Essie polishes they had, my heart was doing its best to convince me that £9.99 for 3 shades was unmissable but my head finally managed to rule and confirmed that I already owned 3 nearly identical colours. I was practically licking the pack and owing to the dodgy looks I got I think the staff thought I was a wannabee shoplifter. The security guard looked a little put out when I failed to set the alarm off.
I was as good as gold in Aldi and Tesco and only bought what was on my list. I also managed to get £8 of coppers into the self serve checkout at Tesco :A.
So that's super MSE form, listed a pile of stuff on ebay whilst watching a film with Bob tonight. Am off to bed and will catch up with all in the morning.

Total Debt 21st October 2012: £11737.03, Total Paid: £0
Consists of real debt: £5737.03 and preventing future debt fund: £6000.
PFD is to let me have a shot at my dreams when I graduate without digging myself back into a money black hole.
I was very proud of myself for resisting the Essie goodness.
Had a shock this morning when trying to list more on eBay, I'd reached my selling limit! I was gutted as the high value items I'd shifted this month weren't even mine but I got onto live chat and they were happy to lift my limits as I am an exemplary seller :A. They must make a killing out of me!
Was good on the spends front again today, needed some vitamins and toner. I've already downgraded from £15  silver soap to Dove (2 for £1) and my skin is exactly the same  so I've downgraded my toner from Tropics to Garnier, even better is that I got a 200ml bottle of Garnier for £1 on the reduced counter in Boots. I also got my vitamins for £1, I got 3 packs as they don't go out of date for a year and they still went through on the 3 for 2 :T.
They also had 1L bottles of Appletise in Home Bargains for 79p! I stocked up on these as I love the stuff.
Made a delicious tea and remembered I am actually capable of cooking. We had tuna steaks from the freezer and I made a fresh salsa using some tomatoes and coriander that needed using, I didn't have limes so instead of dashing out to buy some I used lemons instead. It wasn't quite the same but it was still very tasty and it is one of the sacrifices one must make to become debt free .
Hope you're all having a lovely hot sunny Saturday!

I love Home Bargains. A tad too much at times but hey ho!
Me too! I get it from my Mum, most people go to the nice shopping centres, we head to the ones with Home Bargains, B&M, Poundland and TK Maxx. Just what we need. My mum did train me well though and I can spot a reduced label from 50 paces.
It was gorgeous and sunny this morning so I cracked on with work all morning with the plan to hit the beach with a picnic in the afternoon. We were just getting ready to go when suddenly the skies darkened, about 10 minutes later it was absolutely tipping it down. It has got rid of the heat and humidity though which is a relief.
Today has been no spend and super money making, after a fairly slow week I sold 20 bits on ebay and amazon, 2 big multiple lots on ebay which also means it won't take hours to pack and send. Worked out that after the extortionate fees and post/packing costs I should have about £120 toward my debt :T.
Off to have a nice bath now, naughty bob left the hot water on so it would be terrible to let it go to waste :A might even pop a face mask on too.
