I've met a few women who've said that, but very few who'd step up to the plate when they needed to.:p
Very few.......:rotfl:
Very very few
OK, we've had our fun, Mrs Ryan, you need to concentrate your love on someone who will reciprocate it. This boy isn't that person
And even fewer men I hasten to add...
But I agree, you need to find someone who is going to return the feelings, love being a two way street and all that, otherwise someone always ends up getting hurt:oRaven. :grinheart:grinheart:grinheart0 -

He liked me in the more normal sense rather than fancied me at that age because I had gumption and didn't act like a silly 12 year old (it must be said, at age 12, I looked more like an 18 year old)
The fancying came much later when I was a young woman and over the age of consent. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Why not now? Because you're low, because you feel terrible, because you feel no one else will love you, so you continue to lie to yourself?I know that all too well, Lotus.
but letting go of him at the minute isnt an option. Maybe at some point it will be but not now.
It is an option, you just have to do it.
I haven't got your friends good looks and I don't look like a movie star, nor a rugby player, but I would be honoured to take you to dinner, or anywhere else for a date.
Would you take me? Would I be good enough for you? I can't live up to the fantasy bloke you idolise, so I think not..
PossiblyAnd even fewer men I hasten to add...
but I've lost count of the girls who have said "I'll do anything for you" and have then, haven't.:rotfl: Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

I have my own stunning redhead at home now, we're married and everything :rotfl: but thanks for the offer
:rotfl:
It wasn't until I went to bed that it occurred to me that people might take my post the wrong way, can I just make it quite clear that the redhead I referred to was actually an adult!!:D0 -

Dunno, it seems pretty simple really, a girl says, I'll do anything for you..... and then won't:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: depends in what sense.....;)
why say it to start with?
Tbh, I used to get bored with women saying it when I was younger, I used to have a little test that got rid of 95% in the first few minutes :rotfl:
I......I sound horrible, don't I
I presumed, but didn't like to clarify:rotfl:
