Like others, personally I am sick of hearing about it already. The guys getting gold medals deserver it, have worked hard and I wish them all the luck in the future so I dont think anyone can disagree with that. However, it's laughable how 'proud' people are of being British all of a sudden. There is nothing in the UK to be proud of anymore, I hate the way people refuse to accept this and jump onto any potential achievement. First the queens jubilee (well done for living off the back of british taxpayers for the past 60 years, many of whom are on their !!!! financially) and now it is the olympics. Britain sucks, being British sucks :T

Its hard to hear for many but unfortunately it is true.

Maybe you would be happier living somewhere else.

So true, at least someone can finally speak what everyone is thinking.

The Olympics have been a disaster. They have cost Billions, brought London to a standstill and show what a disorganised mess Britain is in.

Add to that it costs £10 for a drink and half the staff and competitors aren't even English.

The whole idea of the Olympics is that half the competitors aren't English.

The traffic in London is actually better than normal in most parts if you avoid the obvious trouble areas.

I'd estimate that around 95% of the competitors are not English! Anyone know exactly how many there are?

Agreed, we have been down the M25 twice this week without stopping in traffic. I HATE that road with a passion but traffic is flowing nicely. Been to Thorpe Park and no queues around the Olympic Lanes either. My husband said driving in London is easier than before as well. Yes, there has been the odd hiccup but I'd say London is running much better than usual.

How can you even say that and keep a straight face? Britain is knackered, fact. Surely you're not going to claim it isnt?

This is the problem, everyone is thinking it bit many refuse to accept its happening.

How can anyone condone the money spent on this. When london. found out they were hosting the games, they should have said thanks but we can't financially do it. Britain has no money !!!!!!!!!!! It's utter !!!!!!!!.

Stupid and bigoted? What is incorrect in my post stating gb has no money?

I notice every reply has been along the lines of 'you're wrong' so I would assume there is no argument as its true, gb is dying.

It's not my opinion, its fact.
