Sometimes good, sometimes not so good.
Good? When you have managed to pull off the aerial end on the TV and then lose it. What can you do?
Call in a TV man?
or go down the local TV shop, show him a photo of your aerial and have him give you a part that costs £1.
Not so good? A row of packs of pate for sandwiches. All £1.45 except one that is £1. So you buy that one and use it to make todays sandwiches (Today is the day you go to your Sign Language class and take step no. 4362 towards asking the landlord out!) Ah yes...the reason why that pack of pate was cheaper than the rest is the liberal use within it of GARLIC - stand back people, blow torch coming through.

Well skinty I [STRIKE]followed[/STRIKE] your fashion advice last night and wore one of my favourite t-shirts. An upside down sheep with four pints balanced on its feet and the strapline 'Light headed and beautifully balanced'.
Worked a treat. The landlord said he had a better t-shirt for me and gave me a Black Sheep t-shirt (after asking if he could help me put it on!)
Bit of t-shirt envy in the pub quiz team though!
