Butti's Journey: A matter of loaf and death

Butti, I don't post often but everyone knows the debt is only going (slightly) up as you have no other option at this point. Things will be so much easier once you have sorted the house.
Don't forget, an awful lot of home owners have two wages coming in. What have you had coming in (until very recently)?
Not a fat lot!

As others have said, you have been, and still are, coping amazingly well, even when things have not been going your way.
I have a quote on my FB, which was from someone who had something to do with composing the music for the Special Olympics, which says:"Sometimes the odds are stacked so high against you that there's nothing to do except ignore them and fight"I'm a Money and Debt Adviser for a homelessness and housing charity in Scotland. Totally agree with all of the above Butti, just hang in there and hopefully things will improve soon. And you no longer have lodger from hell or weird housemate...Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

To which the answer will be No.
...and 6 year old capers, like when will I be needing them? What possessed me!
You know when you confide in people and they then just wind you up and act like you are all still at school. Welcome to my life. The two girls I practice sign language with texted me on Sunday to say they had just been in the pub chatting to someone who knows me. It is pretty unprintable what I sent back. Wednesday should be interesting.
Another knackering week awaits...three and a half days at work followed by a Friday evening shift at the Beer Festival and then four days sorting the house out. Still I can now see the garage floor and whilst the boss can't give me a rise (will set a precedent say HR!) he has told me to research removal costs. He can see I'm doing a good job so I think he's keen to acknowledge that in some way.

Yummm, I love capers too. I'll eat them, even if they're 6 years old. :rotfl:I'm a Money and Debt Adviser for a homelessness and housing charity in Scotland. Not great news about the rise or the betrayal of confidence, but it does seem like your boss values you, which is something. Well done for finding the garage floor! If at the end of July I am successfully doing my expanded job and project managing a new build I shall ask again. I like my boss but he is in a bit of a corner at the mo. They are restructuring and making people redundant.Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.
