Butti's Journey: A matter of loaf and death

And even the bank's worst APR will be decent compared to 32%... so definitely worth considering!
That's quite some list you had to get through over the weekend Butti! I hope you also managed to find a few minutes to breath and maybe a few more to sip (glug... whichever you prefer...) a glass or two of wine!Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Well that went well :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Still at least I've got my sense of humour
and I haven't cried (yet!) Maybe I can give your boss tips El.
and have my health  and breathe.....
Well went into the bank and talked to the man about my situation. He could understand and he empathised and then came the credit check (that is where the hysterical laughing / crying *
comes in.

They don't like how I've been running my account. I have to agree with them there, I don't like how I've been running it either.
That would be going over my limit in December when First Utility put the DD in early. Nearly going over my limit when First Utility put the DD in early in January. Currently being over my limit because HSBC told me they were going to move my DD to after my pay day this month and haven't. (Maybe I need to check whether they meant changing it at the end of February!)
That's a lot of blaming of other people isn't it?
Still angry woman left 2 bottles of wine by accident when she moved out so I can always have one of those when I get back to the house. That's one glass not one bottle!
So Plan A Credit checked for 0% card hasn't worked
Plan B Credit checked for bank loan hasn't worked
Lets move on
Plan 423 D a wee bit of money from Uncle Richard (Branson) to the total of £1000 or as close as humanly possible. This will involve some spending on the Credit card  but cash for fence guy and patio door guy will come from current account and will need to subsitute something else in there with visa to free up the money.
On good news (sort of) 'You'll like this Beanie'
Plan 423 D does include no council tax until April cos I've been and chatted to them.
Plan 423 D does involve talking to the mortgage company although they have probably done me all the favours they can.
...and Plan 423 D will involve talking the managing agent down from £595 a month to a figure that may bring in a little less money but will ensure the house goes quickly.
Right off to see the Halifax. Lets see if they can be :A this again.
Do feel a bit sick though!

But in more positive news I have been to my dads for tea. He has a big stack of recipe books in the kitchen and told me I could have any I wanted...so I now have my mum's handwritten recipe book. That makes me unbelievably happy and quite sad at the same time.Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

Oh how lovely to get the recipe book, I have my great gandmothers one from 1907 with her handwritten notes beside her favourite recipes. Mind you , even that is not going to encourage me to Pot a Pigs head or Press a cows tongue !!Its just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0
