    Gah, not the best of days really. Lovely news about the recipe book though. It's worth noting the nice things that happen, because when life is falling apart around you, they can get lost in the noise and you start to feel like nothing good ever happens. I keep thinking I should keep a note of the best thing that happens to me each day, so I have a reminder that life is not completely dreadful. I keep forgetting to start it though. Much as I keep forgetting to start a New Year diet. :o

    I would suggest forgetting to start a new years diet is no bad thing. I thought the Recipe book had been thrown out and my mother had lovely handwriting.Its such a precious thing.

    So I think I will accept the offer of help from the man on the white horse a.k.a. The Bank of Dad. I might then get back to a decent nights kip.

    Will just leave it a day because it would be pretty crass to ask on the anniversary of his wife's death.

    Going for a 'proper chat' with my dad. As I'm about 50 miles away the chat will be at about 10.30pm. Feel about 5! Other people do take loans from their relatives don't they? It makes me feel like an abject failure.
