In what context did she say she was sponsored by the Libyan Government? It has nothing to do with her deposit and if she is relating the two then that's a shallow threat. Mind you Dave is over there right now being a... well anyway, tell her you'll give Dave a phone and he can give the Libyan government £60 quid on her behalf...

And given it's a deposit, I assume you have the money and are to give her what's she's due? You really don't need the hassle Butti. If she's out and you've settled up, cut all ties. There's no need to get embroiled in her little dramas any more.

That was what I actually thought at the time Nic, that it was a threat.

So I am going to do what you say. I posted off her towel she had left and included copies of the unbelievable gas / leccy bills and as far as I'm concerned that is that. The rest of my life starts here.

I know it's kinda yuck isn't it ... Are you maybe needing to get you some ? You can tell this by all the phallic shapes that seem to pop up everywhere

Yes, tis true. I'm allowed to leave an inch of water in the bottom of the washing up bowl, let the shower curtain drip on the lino (not deliberately I hasten to add) and shut the front door, as in SHUT it, not pull it gently to so that someone standing a foot away can't hear it shut. God my life has been stressful.

Tonight I'm walking to the pub and therefore I can :beer:. YIPPEE! I feel like I'm back on the planet of the sane!


The managing agent came round to see me yesterday about the house. It will be going up for rent in about 3 weeks at £595 per month and he seems to think it will go fairly quickly. I hope so.

I didn't manage to paint three rooms at the weekend! I did manage to paint one and prepare another, the bathroom. I have cleared 2/3rds of the wardrobe out and once I have painted the middle bedroom that will be me done as far as the bedrooms go.

Before the 22nd I have to arrange;

• The putting up of two fence panels
• The construction of the sliding door wardrobe in the master bedroom
• The replacement of the sink in the kitchen
• The resealing of one of the patio doors (Thanks for the tip Nic)

and how to pay for the above.

This month is going to be tense.

Right lets start as we mean to go on, making my sandwiches!

Well financially and intellectually a good evening. Got free beer because I volunteered to be captain of the quiz team. And we won...and we won the beer round.

Bizarrely I got the beer question spot on, 'What percentage of people who are promised promotion if they sleep with their boss actually get it's. They were looking at me like I had inside information!!!
