Have not managed an NSD today :( Had to concede so I didn't starve in deep Pennine country!)

But did get my DD for my water reduced from £42 per month to £9

They wanted to keep my £97 overpayment as well so I put them right on that too!

Well what the Lord giveth with one hand he takes away with the other (Good job I'm not religious isn't it!)

Roughly translated this means my flight to America has been rescheduled to within 24 hours of my niece's wedding and It's in a different state to the airport! This is the 4th reschedule - I'm cheesed off. This has stressed me and put a bit of a damper on Benedict Cumberbatch ' s Hamlet tonight.

So I've come home on payday and booked a WOW flight for £203. I'm going to have to change my holidays so I can go a day earlier but if I left it any later it would be a manic price.

    AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHH

    Can I just repeat that?

    AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH

Money saving? More like money burning!!

    Top tips for this week;

    1. Book with the airline not with a travel agent
    2. If you are going to book with a travel agent pick a good one
    3. Book legs separately
    4. Cancel any flights you are not taking so you can get the taxes / charges back

Seriously the money 'saving' is going to take a hit. May have been cheaper to get married myself rather than live through the shambles that is 'Trying to get to and from my neices wedding'

    So stressed!

Have now cancelled flight and after much faffing around have booked my return flight. We'll have to see how much I get back from cancelled taxes and fees. Have another internal flight to cancel as well as I have moved my return flight back.

Right I have a wall to sand!

A bit more relaxed now ....but WHAT A FINANCIAL HIT!

    So do I Beanie.

A job for this week is to print out details of what I have booked and what has been paid for. Boston / San Francisco will have to be added to the debt in January with the aim of paying it off by the end of 2016.

There's definitely a line to be walked between money saving and missing out on some great experiences by being too careful. A bit of budget planning should take care of that!
