Well done MappyGirl - your easter sounded wonderful - in a field away from everything; I couldn't think of anything better.
It sounds like you have had a lovely time too, Chele - it's great to chill out with friends in the sunshine
Congrats on your NSD Woodyrocks! It's been another success here too - we ended up going grocery shopping of all things - I didn't think anywhere would be open, but dh sat and despaired at lunchtime when he looked in the 'fridge. dd bought her own money, so the packet of crisps and carton of juice we would normally tussle over was stress free and didn't cost me anything
Got all the seeds for planting - a neighbour of ours who is off on holiday for 3 weeks gave us all his leftovers - how cool?!
Have a great evening everyone

hi everone. not done too good today as had to pay £6 to get back from my friends and then we had a KFC. so £9.49 spent today - no good for the first day!
back at work tomorrow and back into routine which should help with the no spending.
we have just done our food shop so we're sorted for that for the week. just about to write up the menu plans for this week on WORD.
have a great easter everyone and sorry for today but will def try harder tomorrow!!!***PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBT***

Hi everyone
Glad to hear all is still going well :T
Well, I'm back at work today so another NSD for me as I've brought my lunch in - it was hard work last night getting back into the swing of preparing everything for the next day!!
I'm out round my friend's tonight as OH is working but that won't cost anything
Have a good day and keep up the good work.
Speak later

I would love to do this for a month - maybe May... I have found that over these past 4 months I have managed to do very well not spending. I had wanted 2007 to be different and it has, only problem is it becomes addictive and you don't take time to treat yourself!
This is my excuse for buying some lovely Dr Hauschuka facial moisturiser and also lusting after some body moisturiser from L'Occitane...
Buy May - that will be NS all the way!MFW #185

I'm going to have to start again in May!!!
This new job is causing me to spend money !!! I have to pay nursery £25 regsistration fee, I've just bought some extra nappies to send DD with, she needs a little rucksack type thing to take her change of clothes/nappies etc in... they're bloomin expensive!!
Grrrr..... once I've got my budget up and running I'll be back with a vengence!!! :rotfl:
Will keep popping in to remind me I don't need Creme Eggs (Mum bought me 8 for Easter :rotfl: ) or doughnuts etc....
And I promise not to spend any money on things I don't actually NEED!! xx"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Hi All,
Well done Chele - it's another NSD for us as well - just a loaf of bread this morning, which, ok maybe I could have made it, but it was reduced and I don't think I could have made it for cheaper.
it will be great to have you on board in May, Eagerlearner and I think you make a good point about the occassional treat.
Tigzem; there is no need to give up, none of your spending has been frivilous. It's like the swimming lessons that came up this month; I didn't count it as unecessary. It would be a shame if you stopped now.
Well done on your bargain, Winkle1 - may you smell sweet for the rest of the month

tigzem, i dont think you should give up either, just try and be good whenever you can
