Can I join the challenge as well please? I have just had the busiest week ever with lots of birthday's and easter, so I've spent SO much... I need something to get me back on the straight and narrow!!!

Today I have spent nothing and shouldn't spend nothing - going to a friends house tonight and she is picking me up, she has loads of wine at hers so she's told me not top bring any (result!!), and then I am sleeping over so don't have to worry about paying to get home.

If I spend anything it'll only be a max of a fiver - maybe towards some nibbles, or some food, just to say thanks to my friend for havimng me.

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

    Morning all and welcome Winkle1

SF I watched that on Sat night, agree is v good. We have got a free trial with Lovefilm, although it will be ending soon so must find another one to try for free

NSD yesterday. I am going in for another one today.

I keep on thinking of the fish at the end of Finding Nemo who get caught in the net and all start chanting 'keep swimming' to pull the net down so they can be free, except I think of chanting 'no spending, no spending' :rotfl: not out loud though only in my head
I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off :o

Janeryan, just join in next month - it's great that yo uare taking inspiration from this thread.
Glad you enjoyed your film, Nicola - dh has watched it twice and loves it. I don't like anything with an ounce of 'graphic detail' in so I haven't seen it :D

Love the 'no spending, no spending' chant Taadaa!

I'm having another NSD - we're not going anywhere except to the garden centre later and I WILL RESIST anything other than seeds.

    Have a lovely monday everyone

    Hi everyone

Sorry I haven't been on for a couple of days - want to wish everyone a belated Happy Easter and send a warm welcome to Winkle :D

I've been chilling out in the garden the last couple of days - reading, bbq'ing, etc. But not spending apart from grocery shop on Saturday which was all necessary!!

On for another NSD today. My friends invited me to go shopping with them to Touchwood today but I turned it down and invited them to come round after their shop for a sit in the garden and nice chat over some pimms n lemonade instead :T

OH at the football till late tonight so got nice quiet time to prepare myself for the dreaded work tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad everyone's doing so well with this challenge. Keep up the good work.

    Speak later

Having a NSD! Have enough food in doors and we are not wanting for anything else. Looking forward to a couple of days out of town. We leave tomorrow and I will try not to go mad with the purse strings :)
