    Hi all,

Hope the weather has been as nice as it's been here for you.... it's been like summer! We went out to the New Forest for a walk, I only live 5 mins from it. BUT I stopped at Morrisons to buy DD a ball, was £2.49 but hearing her squeals as she chased after it was worth it! She's 19 months.

Then we stopped to get ice-creams and I spent another £3...

I'm just no good at this!! :rotfl:

Will start again next week.... as I need to buy one or two easter eggs 2moro, I also need to get one for my Mum but as she's away in Prague until Mon nite I figure I can get her one on Monday when they've been reduced???

    Tigz xx

    Hi everyone

Sorry I haven't been on all day - popped out this morning thinking I'd be home by early afternoon but only just got in!!!

Went to my friend's house for couple of hours, then on to my sister's. Spent lovely afternoon in back garden with sis n two young nephews - one's 2 1/2 and one's 9 months - then her OH came home and asked if we all wanted a ride out to pub with playground so I ended up going along but just drinking soda water which is free and watching my nephew play on the slide :D

Just sitting down for a relax now and enjoying the quiet :rolleyes2

Got to take my mom n dad to the airport tomorrow morning but after that I'm staying in cos OH going to the football in the afternoon - so should be another NSD tomorrow. :A

Can't believe how many McFlurry's you lot are getting through!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:

    Good luck for tomorrow

Hi all, spent most of the day out yesterday as well!

Chele what a lovely way to spend a day kids are lovely when they are that age, so innocent.

I spent a fiver on a bottle of wine to share with my friend after the exhibition yesterday, including travel card thats £10.70. But I didn't eat as well, what a rip off eating out can be if you're not careful!! Well really what a rip off drink can be as well, but I will leave that one until I have managed to resist it ;)

Then I bought my son an Easter egg, only a little one from Tesco for 89p well at least that was cheap!! :D So not the greatest day. Cooked 'chinese' last night, had all the ingredients already though.

Have to go to PO again this morning, I reckon they must be sick of the sight of me :rotfl: Also have to take some money out of the food pot for the butchers, we are having lamb tomorrow and I am worried that it will cost an arm and a leg, but we are well up so far this month and technically this is the second week now, so we are doing okay so far.

Tomorrow will be an NSD. And I am going to try and follow it through for the rest of the week, with the exception of food - from the weekly shop, the McFlurry frenzy must stop :rotfl:

I was semi-pleased with my efforts for last week. Especially on the cooking from scratch front. I cooked chinese also Taadaa! Bought a 1/2 price ready cooked roaster from somerfields and still had some left over the following day so I teamed it with a BOGOF prawns I had in the freezer and a cheap packet of mixed veg. It tasted even better than my local chinese lol

I have not bought DD any easter eggs (not because I am tight :p) as she has got so much to eat through from friends and family that it would have been pointless to buy anymore!

Good for your Woodyrocks, I wouldn't say mine tasted better than the local but it was alot cheaper! Just looked at your signature you are doing really well with your house deposit.

I am spending minimally on food this week, the freezer needs defrosting. It has drawers in it, and when I pulled one out yesterday I couldn't push it all the way in again for the frost, so that's it must plan all meals around contents of freezer

My butcher had a frozen leg of lamb, he said it was the same when cooked, and it cost me £8 less, so was only a tenner!

Jamiedodger you are doing ever so well only 39p well done

    Hello All!
I haven't written for a couple of days - I've still been having NSD - yipee!
The sun is so lovely, we've just been out in the garden everyday and have done lots of weeding and preparing the ground.
I will need to go to the garden centre this week for seeds, but I don't count this as unecessary as it saves us loads, ultimately in FREE FOOD!!

Have a lovely easter everyone and congrats to everyone. Remember, it's about AWARENESS more than anything at this stage.
