    tesco was lowest for sausages.

Eggs asda as £1.50 but could have been for 18.

aldis do value range so not sure hat they would charge as have their basic penne here.

I got asdas eggs last week, it was 15 for £1.50.

Tesco have 30 mixed weight eggs at half price at the mo for £1.50, it's worth checking if your store does them.

BB I am still reading the thread but you made me warm and fuzzy:A I have been diagnosed with gall stones (been going on for a bit more than two years but being pregnant twice in that time didnt help pin down the cause of my discomfort).Im averaging one trip a week to A&E for entenox (and morphine once or twice) to cope with the agonising pain that an attack brings, whilst I wai for surgery.

Since the diagnosis Ive been adjusting my diet accordingly, but for a number of weeks I was only eating yoghurt and then I got afraid to eat anything. My last A&E trip, a doctor gave me an interesting alternative and suggested that not eating would only make it worse because of the under use of bile.He suggested that I snack on fruit and veg and have at least 6 smaller meals a day rather than three larger ones to ensure my stomach always has "something to work on". Ive been doing this for a week now and so far Ive had only one mild attack. I made myself a weekly meal planner yesterday with columns for calories to try and get my intake up and now Im going to make a recipe book to go with that. Im putting your plans into that book as over the weekend some of those choices (I especially liked the mixed veg crustless quiche) have really "filled me up" without adding to the pain.

I just wanted to say thank you for that:)

I really feel for you, i had gallstones which caused me to have pancretitsis now i'm not sure if everyone gets as much pain as me or if mine was worse, but i had just had twins and by the time they were 4 months i'd managed 10days at home, by that point my dr just said i'm not letting you home, if your taking up a bed they'll sort you an awful lot quicker, i got abit upset and said i had new born babies at home to which he said if i don't keep you you could have newborn orphans, bit blunt and it annoyed me at the time but he did have a point within 2 weeks i'd had 2 mri's (i was still waiting for an appointment from my first episiode it came threw after that) and my operation, that was 6 years ago and i still have to be careful, i'm lucky i can eat anything now except very spicy things, i can even manage the odd chinese if i'm careful about what i eat before and after it :)

I hope you get some releif soon, i still suffered from pains after however i didn't want to live on codine so my dr put my on epilepsy tablets and they worked wonders.

Quintwins interesting thing with the epilepsy tabs, will have to ask about it. I have cerebral palsy and take a full dose of codiene already (that doesnt touch this pain)Ive always maintained that having three c-section with very difficult entry on the spinal blocks were less pain than this.

I had an awful 4 day long twin labour with 3 epidurals and the last one didn't even kick in intime because they wouldn't listen to me!! yet a week later before the pain had even faded in my mind i was in the worst pain of my life, i could hardly talk or speak, i'll never forget the night i called a&e to be told it was a 6hr wait and phone the oncall dr for some morphine before i went in, and the oncall dr said because it was so seriousl they wouldn't help, i went to a&e screaming so they brought me threw to majors to try and get them to 1 give me gas and air to calm me down before i woke the whole hospital and 2 see me quicker when they seen how much pain i was in, and someone acually gave me there bed and went back out to wait, now it was majors so there must have been something seriously wrong with her and i'd say she had already had a long wait but i was just in so much pain, i couldn't even talk to thank her but i really do appriciate it, i lived on 30/500 codine for about a year just to get me threw the day and so i could eat, see now normal over the counter codine are like sweeties for me, the epilepsy tablets made me real sleepy but did help, anythings worth a try.

I can relate to this. Had the gall bladder removed 6 years ago as well. Several trips to a&e (funny but the pains always came at night time!!!), I can definitely say it was a lot worse than having a baby. The pain was simply unbearable, to the point of me nearly passing out. I'll never forget how I phoned nhs to request the ambulance and was refused one as my oh was home and could have theoretically driven me to hospital (this was at around midnight and we had a sleeping two year old at home). I had to drive myself, can't even remember how I made it there. Several MRI scans and an operation later I feel great now, but have to watch very fatty and spicy things.

Wow i couldn't drive back then anyway but i def couldn't have drove, i could hardly talk most of the time i was in hysterics, I was very young at the time 19-20 and tbh i couldn't have coped without my husband i was very distressed, newly married just had kids and very upset so he had to drive me anyway, my babys lived at his mums for 4 montsh because we gave up trying to get them home for her to have to come get them in the middle of the night so i could go to a&e, all my pains except one come at night aswell, lasted for about 8-10hrs on unbareable pain then went away, apparently thats normal, i was always left with a niggly pain for a few days but most of it wnet away.

I can relate to all of that, although my DH is night blind so Ive never been refused an ambulance. Also we dont have any family here so no where to leave the kids.Ive spent so much time in hospital as I have cerebral palsy though so being alone doesnt really phase me.Sure it would be nice to have someone there, but Im not really in a "conversational mood" so it doesnt matter.
