I thought that I would re price everything at today's prices as you can see some things have stayed the same and there are some big rises as well. In total a rise of £1.05:eek: which is huge on such a small budget
So this will now come to £8.85 :eek:Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Thanks Butterfly Brain. I was really inspired by this menu plan and shopped for some of the things as part of my menu plan for this week. I did notice that a few of the items had gone up, and some by a fairly large percentage. However I still got 3 carrier bags worth of food for around £11.34 which covered the majority of my weekly shop. It has re-introduced me to the Tesco value range as I have not shopped regularly at Tesco since changing to shopping at my local Lidl. There are some things cheaper in Lidl but definitely some things cheaper here too. I just need to keep and eye on what is cheaper where.
Edit - just a wee price check - In my store the Everyday Value spaghetti was up to 39p:eek:0 -
Many thanks to butterfly brain for the peach pudding recipe had it tonight it was lovely......
Morrison s savers peaches 39p
Savers sponge mix 27p
And an egg
I noticed several savers branded lines were up in price and I wondered if its a cynical January ploy by the supermarkets to make some extra cash out of these popular lines in this long month! :eek:Every Penny's a prisoner :T0 -
