Hi all
I'd like to join in please. I am not going to 'diet' as I have tried numerous diets in the past and as soon as I start one I feel like I want to eat everything in the house:o. So this time I am just going to listen to my body, eat when I need to eat and moderate the amount I eat. I do have a fairly healthy diet but need to cut back on portion sizes and not just eat when I am bored or fed up.
Currently weighing in at xx stone and 7.5lbs so that's my starter and hoping to lose a stone with you all.0 -
Morning all!
GFN- i like your thinking! THIS is the start
So, my main downfall is evenings. I can eat 100% healthy all day, but as soon as 7pm hits, thats it i fancy choc and wine. So i am just going to have to do without for the time being.
We were going top go to the beach today, but i am not sure if i can be bothered to ber honest! I stayed up till 1am to watchh the opening ceremony of the olympics, and i cant function without sleep! I feel half dead!0 -

That's mine too. And my husband will be watching a film with me and he'll suddenly say "cheese" and then I must have some. Despite not being hungry, and not even thinking of food, the word makes me crave it so badly! :mad:0 -
Welcome to Maisie
I am the same maisie, i crave whatever i cant have.
i am now approaching this as a lifetime change. whatever choices i make about food, i am thinking to myself ?'can i do this forever'.
Hence the reaon i cant cut anythign out, i couldn't imagine not ever eating chocolate again. So whatever change i make, must be sustainable.
Iwanna- maybe try to some low fat cheese to start with? Or normal cheese, chop it up into very small cubes so it feel lik eyou have more? Or perhaps very strong mature cheese, so you dont eat as much?0 -
I'll try cutting it into small pieces
Though part of me says just don't buy it in the first place :rotfl:

Have you read the link I posted on the previous page? Once you get into the way of eating it is nigh on impossible to eat if you're not hungry. It is really odd! Paul McKenna also has techniques to deal with cravings. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Hi folks,
Can I join in too? I lost loads of weight last year with Rosemary Conley but hit a depression patch and stopped going. Now it's got the end of July, I look awful and my brother's wedding is mid-September. Hopefully, being here will motivate me to go out and do something rather than sit at home feeling bad.
On the plus side I did 3x10 minute workouts today which is a good start right?Spam Reporter Extraordinaire

I love cheese, last night when OH and I got back from an event it was cheese on toast, bad I know but the pair of us were knaackered and had been on our feet all night. OH did want a McD's but managed to talk him out of it and we hadn't had any dinner, only a sandwich. Today is OH's birthday, so although I have made him a cake (sorry) it'll be a small slice for me.
