Oh amyb poor you I do hope you feel better! Savesummore, I've heard shred is a killer! I was good and went to the gym, think I over did the weights though, everything hurts. Just watching you are what you eat, even watching that is making me hungry!!
  • Ran 12km and supposedly 900 calories but i'm not really sure how accurate the calorie counter on treadmills are.

Had salmon and salad for tea too which is nice and healthy and i feel surprisingly full which is not expected.

Feel really motivated but for how long...? I think people always feel this way initially.

I'm trying lots of things to keep me motivated. I've taken 'before' bikini pics as a shock treatment to myself, printed lots of pics of mexico and put around my desk and on my fridge!

I find if Im demotivated I like looking up new recipes gor random ingredients! This week Im going to buy quinoa & give it a whirl for lunches!

Eating more veggies is making me more energetic but the gym is killing me! Test will be this weekend as is payday drinks on Friday then girly night back home in Oxford on Saturday! Need to save some cals for alcohol & also limit my drinking (which is hard for me- ashamedly!)

Keep going everyone and think of your long term goals! :0)

Ok yesterday turned out ok. Have lost a couple of points of a kg today which is something :) and although I didn't want to I went to the gym. Today I'm going to buggy fit and will hopefully have a salad for lunch and a stir fry for tea. It's just whether I can stave off the temptation of cake! might have to skip coffee afterwards!! Am pleased with my efforts this time though a I'm actually exercising and still losing weight, as usually I put weight on but I think I've managed to find the right balance.

Well today hasn't been the best, I went to buggy fit, which was really hard by the way but since then, I had my lovely salad, then had some cashews, 2 pieces of fudge, a rocky bar, coffee with 2 sugars Nd some of the baby's unwanted risotto then porridge!!!! Realty feel like pigging out as this is the 5th day of being good, but I've set myself quite high targets to reach :(

I read this really interesting post on Pinterest about pigging out which has helped my improve my will power when it comes to eating. It said that many people who've had a bad day food wise will often go on to have a REALLY bad food-day, displaying a 'I've started so I might as well carry on' mentality. But they made the point that if you had an accident and lost a leg, you wouldn't adopt the same attitude and cut off the other one as well (after all, you've started, so you might as well carry on...) so why do it with food?

They put it much more elegantly than that, I'll have to see if I can find the link

Thanks pavlovs dog, I have unfortunately pugged out to the huuuuge extent of:
    3 glasses of wine
    Packet of crisps
    3 rockies
    1 mini chomp
    2 bits of fudge
    Some risotto
    Tiny bit of porridge
    1 pitta bread pizza
1 small slice bread low fat cheese sandwich

I can't believe I have eaten so much!!! But looking at it, it's actually not at all bad considering my usual pig outs, most of its low fat and I actually really fancied fish and chips, we'll have to see how far off target I am tomorrow!!!!
