Hi guys, sorry i havent been around!

I was getting disheartened with not losing any weight, then was recommended to up my calories intake.
So upped it to 1700 a day instead of 1200..and lost 2lbs in less than a week!
    Was VERY pleased! :)

Then, lo and behold, my 8yr old osn broke his ankle! So we havent been able to get out and about on our walks, but i HAVE been trying to do exercise DVDs!

Hope your son gets better soon- its made my eyes water thinking of a broken ankle :o

Well done on the weight loss :T thats great news

Im having a hard time of it the last couple of days- all self inflicted as I got rather drunk Saturday night, spent all day yesterday lying on sofa and eating carp and still feel poop today- so again no exercise although diet has been abit better

Lesson learnt ref the drink (I hardly drink but when I do itend to really over do it :o)

  • I ran 14km and now i'm in bed feeling really tired and will probably be asleep in about an hour!

I'm pleased though because it's my longest distance running in a while. I really don't look like i have the body to run long distances so it just goes to show anyone can do it! My bingo wings and fat thighs pumping away they were!

    Well done Southernman!
I've been doing couch to 5k and finished week 5; it's challenging but I am loving it :0) 14k is a pipedream for me; only just mastered 4k!

After my naughty cider drinking this weekend (sob!) I stupidly weighed myself and have gained. Will wait for my proper weigh in on Wednesday though for declaring!

Tempted by this 30 day shred everyones cgatting about; may dtart it 1/9 in prep for Mexico at end of October! Eeeeek a little scared!

I'm really enjoying 30DS kittenkirst. The 1st time I attempted it, I didn't even make it to the end of the workout! It kicks my butt seven ways to Sunday. It is getting easier in so far as I can now do some of the moves which I couldn't do at all when I first started, and every time I do it I force myself to squeeze out a few more reps of each move. But it's still an absolute killer.

Ha i need to run 21km for my run in November! I've put on weight since last week though which is surprising seeing as i've run 36km in the last week (22 miles) and eaten healthily (apart from some thorntons on friday night oops). My tummy isn't jiggly but i think i'm sort of big all over. I can't fit into size 10 jeans and it would be nice to have a non sticky out tummy but i'm not sure if that's partly to do with my back bone structure???

IWTBSE - Well done on the weight loss. Sorry to hear about your son's ankle, OUCH. I did the same thing about 10years ago on holiday. Hope he recovers soon x

Have been to the dentist today so am a bit off food. I just do *not* have a flip-top head, despite her keep saying open your mouth wider. Anyway everytime I did she put something else in there

Just need to decide what to eat now. I have 474 calories left for today according to MFP! :o

    Morning everyone :)
I totally fell off the wagon yesterday, so am jumping back on it today.

Well done Kitten on your progress with the C25K. I have to put everything on hold now until the kids go back to school as i cant leave the 8yr old with his older brother incase he needs the toilet etc (he cant get there himself with his ankle broken).
But i am determined to get out for walks today. The problem is, its such a hassle getting him and his wheelchair in the car and back out again! But it'll be worth it to get out and about again, as we all are getting a bit of cabin fever at the moment.
All the walks we normally go on are not suitable for wheelchairs too, so i am at a bit of a loss!

    Hello :)

I've become ultra-good at recording my food on MFP. Lunch today I had a cheese salad (lots of salad and 60g mature cheddar) and melon, clementines and totally bypassed the box of chocs for someone's birthday, go me! Still got 384 calories to go but am not hungry :o

Sorry you're having difficulty getting out, WTBSE. Not surprised you've fallen off the wagon, you've a stressy time at the moment. xx

Don't worry too much about falling off the wagon; you are fetting back on it again and life is full of ups & downs- it's about living your life not about being all or nothing restrictive forever! :-)

It's my weigh-in this morning but the scales aren't working *sob* so wil just carry on as usual and not let it demotivate me!

    Hope all are well x
