    Hi all

Been a bit awol as it has been the school holidays but our kids went back on Tuesday (we are in Scotland) so am now able to start meal planning and dieting again.

Did my weigh in this morning and I am **stone 5.75 pounds - so I have lost 1/4 of a pound in three weeks lol. Mind you better than putting on which I would normally do during the holidays. Total lost so far 1.75 pounds.

Will read back and catch up on what I have missed.

Well, I have given up trying to do this while the kids are off school. Days out are a nightmare so I am eating everything else carefully (sort of) and will get back on SW plan so I can lose it before Xmas.

See you all in a few weeks time.

    Only just seen this tread.
I'd like to join you all in loosing half a stone. I'm in my mid fourties and the weight is stubbornly not going anywhere. To be honest if I just lost a few pounds so that my clothes fitted a bit better - I'd be pleased.

Nice to see you posting again WTB, and well done on the loss. Sorry to hear about your son though - I hope the clinic visit goes OK and he heals nice and fast.

Well, I am 1lb down today which is better than nothing! I haven't been especially good, but have been reducing my portions as I know I'm just greedy rather than hungry half the time :D

I'm now just counting down the working day until Bank Holiday!

Hope you all have a long lovely weekend :)
Proud to be a moneysaver :)
  • I've lost 3 pounds this week :D I think putting everything I eat on MFP makes me concentrate!

Hope everything went ok at the fracture clinic, WTBSE

Well done to everyone who has lost weight this week. :j
  • Sorry to hear about DS's ankle WTBSE, hope he is up and about again soon. I work in a hospital and kids always do things like that in the school hols - they should be safely shut away in school all the time where they're safer! Mind you, the most common time for them to break anything seems to be the first week of the summer holidays so they just get the plaster off in time to go back to school - really bad timing....

We have been camping this last week and have managed to put on another pound so am now heavier than when I started trying to lose weight. Good grief how pathetic. In my defence I would like to say that it rained a lot so there was a lot of sitting around in a tent reading, eating custard creams and drinking wine so no wonder. Still, back to work again tomorrow so back on the old bike and I shall take healthy snacks and am making a batch of lentil curry for lunches so here we go again.
    Love to all,
    Daisy

  • Almost glad to go to work today as it's so busy there I almost don't think about "extra" food. Obviously I have my lunch but at home I find I then think of the twix in the cupboard etc - at work I have removed all temptation apart from some fruit on my desk. And it seems to work as I won't go downstairs 2 flights to buy choc. :o

I stupidly weighed myself after my netball match, dinner & drinking a litre of water and wonder why it's gone up! (plus a very naughty weekend!)

Hoping tomorrow morning weigh in will be better!

Positive thing; netball was a lot easier and I had a lot more energy/power than before so I think the gym work is paying off even if not in weight terms :0D
    First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!
