Afternoon Ladies.
Just popped into Boots to weigh myself and I've lost another 5lb this week.
That's 15 in total for my first four weeks, and I've succeeded in my first mini aim of a stone in a month.I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler0 -
Evening all
Well, I am very excited as we are off to V Festival for the day tomorrow :j Hopefully all the walking around and dancing will make up for the vodka orange I have carefully made up (in cartons, very MSE!).
Don't know what inspired me but I did an online workout today. And after some searching found a really good Youtube channel with a 90 day programme on it, which I will start on MondayI think it might be 'the fear'! My friend passed her final exam today so we will start my personal training sessions soon. She is already a football coach and I have been to her fitness classes - bricking it, she is a hard task master!
Missymoo - I am SO like that, and once I start, if I have broken my diet, I go into full on s*d it mode. I know I need to stop that as at the moment even a piece of chocolate makes me feel like that, which isn't a very healthy mindset.
This week I STS when I weighed in yesterday. I'm now determined to do something about it. Well right after this Thai curry OH is making anyway :rotfl:
Hope you all have a good weekend.
Where is WTB? Hope you are out there and just busy, not feeling too dispirited :hello:Proud to be a moneysaver0 -
Hey all, frantically getting back on the wagon today; came back to Oxford with night out with friends, ate at a beautiful Lebanese restaurant but then we went to pub.
I never knew how calorific cider was- 4 bottles = one whole day over my calorie allowance!!!! I have 650 cals under for the week so if go to the gym today I'll have about a 1000 to eat today- must be good and try to redeem myself!
:0) was a lovely night though!
P.S I've lost 11lbs this month so far, purely from upping my gym sessions & using MyFitnessPal to monitor my caliries :0) thanks for everyones support!
We can do this! :-DFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!0 -

hello....mind if I join in with the weight loss?! I've decided enough is enough this evening and it's really about time I actually lost some weight!! I have done 2 miles on our treadmill this evening to kick it off and haven't eaten a huge amount today so that's a good start I think!0

Well done on the weight losses, people! Amy very well done on the 15 pounds! Go to the top of the class!
Went to a BBQ on Saturday, hottest day of the year, me and hubby doing the cooking while everyone else seemed to sit in the shade and drink wine  we always do the cooking for this event as we get it done on time... I was taking two platters of sozzies and burgers to the table, wearing my floaty sundress. This old lady tugged my elbow and said, "it must be very difficult being pregnant in this heat, and at your age, too"
I just smiled weakly and wanted to go and hide in a shed to cry
Oddly enough after that I didn't feel hungry
Today we are going for a long walk and I aim to do this every day. Need to up my exercise as now have my motivation... Can't do a thing about my age but my weight is shiftable.0 -
Oh IWLFF that's awful I do feel sorry for you. Mind you those floaty sun dresses do seem to add several extra pounds so try not to let it get to you...:grouphug:(dodgy group hug to you)
I have now put back on the pound I lost last week so am clearly WEAK WEAK WEAK! I have been having way too much fun lately - this must stop immediately! OH and I went out to see a band on Saturday evening and ended up having a Chinese meal and a bottle of wine, it was lovely but now I'm back to the beginning again. Oh well, so much for eating like a normal person, clearly more drastic measures need to be taken.
