Hope Bettys healthcheck has gone well, if you managed to get her in at the vets today?

Well I have started my own thread for advice on Yorkies. :) I have emailed our local vets earlier and they have given me details of a local breeder so have asked what others think of the adverts before I call tomorrow.

It really is a minefield out there isn't it, as you can probably tell I worry too. ;)

budget babe we took her to vets, she was the best behaved with lots dogs barking and stuff, she was not shaking or crying(which is what i expected) not even a bark she was really good she got loads of attention which she loves!
we reg her and joined puppy club!
as her next injection is due friday they said to book her in for check up then, two weeks after that for microchip.
so not long before we can take her for walk, we have started to walk around garden on lead seems to enjoy that, she has took a shine to the broom think she want to sit on it for ride.
did want to ask you can you remember what shampoo you washed toby with? we have seen one for white dogs wondered if it is any good?

I use White wash by animology for Ellie, her coat was in a right mess when we got her and this shampoo has brought her coat up lovely and white.

She sounds like she is already a star pupil :) but lol to the broom.

We used to take Toby every 6 weeks to the groomers for his wash, cut and blow dry. We brushed him in between but didn't really bathe him inbetween the visits only if he needed it, we just brushed him.

We did have some shampoo I think it was natural based, but this was only in case he ever poo rolled. ;)

He used to love to go to the groomers, when he came back it was like, "well I'm back and I deserve something because I look so fab", and he did too.

But try one from the post above, as that sound ok.

    Hope tonight goes well again.

a groomer told me once a month maximum unless needs more for health reasons. More frequent bathing can dry out their skin.
