Had a phone call to say I did not get second job. They said they were impressed by some of my ideas, and I had come up with things others had not thought of, but I lacked confidence and suggested I tried volunteering in some kind of development role.PAID OFF FEB 2014 - £62.00

Morning
Yesterday I began in a good mood then got a bit de-motivated throughout the day, but managed to get stuff done. Feeling good again so hopefully today it will last and I will be productive. I am finding the penny thing to be a good way to make sure I check my internet banking everyday, I was quite good at looking regularly but sometimes forgot.
Before my shower this morning I filled my shower gel bottle with bath cream (I am sure its the same looking at ingredients and I always have loads of bath stuff). I also used body lotion as shaving cream (tip picked up from MSE). I use to use conditioner but again I always have loads of body creams which I rarely use.
OH didn't have time to drink his tea before work so I microwaved it rather than making myself a second one.
I had cheese on toast for breakfast. Using crust from the freezer which had been left there after a new pack of bread had been opened (we both eat crusts :S). Also noticed the date of the cheese was Aug so need to make sure to use it before then!
Plan for todayFinish sorting my kitchen
Phone manager from interview 1 Mon
Clean bathroom
Some more cleaning downstairs (yay :rotfl:)
Put a load of washing in (on the quick cycle as always)
Spend an hour refreshing my memory re. company/possible questions for later
Lunch from freezer
Check if there are any more jobs to apply for
Iron clothes for later
Recruitment event later
Also need to take some money from credit card . But will be sure to overpay by more for this month. OH gets paid in a few days and we already owe enough money to our respective parents!PAID OFF FEB 2014 - £62.00

. Try again!
Morning
Ok, change of plan with the overdraft - actually planning to extend it - for good reason - my OH has been using payday loans !! and I have had to use my credit card this month so we are planning to use the money borrowed interest free to cut down on interest payments on the loans and in emergencies rather than credit cards.
I will continue to keep a diary but it will be focused on efforts to become MSE and saving and making money. I find this motivates me, clears my head getting it all out and helps me remember what I planned to do!
The interview went ok yesterday - no strong feelings either way about how well I did which is unusual for me.
I managed to do everything I planned yesterday to my amazement - lists are clearly the way to go!
Plan for today -Shower
Ironing - will do this later whilst watching Big Bang
Get some swagbucks
Try to download SBTV on my new phone (upgrade better phone, cheaper than my last contract and 150 cashback)
Apply for at least 2 jobs
Sort my kitchen
Phone some relatives
Wash both lots of bedding
Porridge at lunch (yummy, cheap and not too fattening
)
Check OnePoll and see if it is working for me yet!
Sort my kitchen
Whatever else I may have missed

Well didn't get the job from yesterday
Oh well, at least I know.
Had some waiting around to do yesterday so had a 'free' subway using points - have just filled in a quick survey for a free cookie from there.
OnePoll is working again for me, although I have not qualified for any yet. Have just completed 2 surveys on Valued Opinions though. One of my faves because it builds up quite quickly, vouchers are sent out quickly and they don't ask loads of questions if you are going to screen out. I have been getting the Sainsburys gift cards which are very useful.
First set of bedding in and Swagbucks vids running in the background, but really need to crack on and try to have a productive day today!PAID OFF FEB 2014 - £62.00

Evening, well today has been lazy and uneventful. However my MSE efforts are -
Sorted Sun holiday stuff out
Clicks on adpaid and archerfish
Checked valued opinions - no surveys up for me, but as soon as pending reward credits I can order my £10 voucher
OH has gone out - asked if I wanted to join him - I am not going out
Having Chinese later - not very MSE but a treat, would have had it if had gone out too, will make sure OH orders something we like instead of random dishes at the time!! I will eat leftovers tomorrow and the tubs are ideal for freezing LO cooking in
Swagbucking/SBTV in background - trying to get to 849 for first Amazon voucher - which will be spent on mobile phone case/cover so I am less likely to damage new phone! After that vouchers will be saved for the C word and Nov/Dec birthdays, I am determined to be a least a little organised this year
Next few days - need to buy mouthwash from superdrug where its 1/2 price, need to send old mobile phone for boots points on Mon, OH suggested Batman tomorrow as we have free tickets. The usual applying for jobs/surveys/clicks. I am sure there is other things I have missed too!
Need to compare mobile phone insurance prices with the one I currently have a months free trial for!PAID OFF FEB 2014 - £62.00

Afternoon
Well Chinese order was sensible if a bit much. Saved some of it but not all! Hate wasting food and none of it was in plastic tubs :(lol. I would have usually saved whatever was left but OH was busy falling asleep in his and I was feeling sick for some reason and needed to go to bed. Anyway today is a new day. Efforts so farStill swagbucking - really slow weekend
Am working on a SAO but it is taking a while to find all the info
LO Chinese food for me and bacon butties for OH as had bacon that was open in the fridge
Saved a shepard's pie, some wedges and some meatballs with today's date on and an open pack of garlic bread by freezing them. Also tried to have the fridge vaguely in date order.
Charity clicks
Put the dishwasher on (according to OH this needed to go on yesterday we have eaten last night and this morning since then). It's on the lowest setting and anything that did not go in will be washed with normal washing up I need to do.
Started watching Olympic ceremony earlier on iplayer. Did not think I would be interested but it looked amazing! Have been exloring volunteering options and going to apply for some when I have decided what the best type would be.PAID OFF FEB 2014 - £62.00

Hi.
Well yesterday OH asked if I wanted to go out to the pub or to a 'free' music festival. I thought it would be a bring your own booze/food type event but he said no its a licensed bar after I had agreed to it. Realised we could have took booze once we got there.
So we ended up spending on salads/crisps (which we did not eat!) although we both had them for lunch. £6 on drinks there and more on a drink each in pub after, 6.50 on a hot dog/cheeseburger and 2 pound on sweets!
Was talking about money and OH reckons off top of head he's 10,000 grand in debt. I think its probably more than he thinks but don't know until I have worked everything out properly. He's of the attitude - my debts are not that much compared to my income and my head is above water (I'm not so sure) and also does not want to "stop living". He is quite happy to shop around for painless saving because apparently he hates being ripped off. Because he is older than me I see what he is doing (in terms of money/attitude/debt) and don't want to end up in the same position. As he works full time and I don't have a job at the moment I try not to moan too much! And besides he's better behaved during the week :rotfl: Also, I am sure there is a lighbulb flickering in my head somewhere but I am certaintly not there yet!!
I found three first class stamps in the house yesterday after I thought I had used the last of them. We decided to save the cinema tickets for a night when we had not done anything.
Applied for a job in a bank this morning. Also applied for another job and have been contacted by them and will possibly have an interview this week. Have also signed up with another agency.
I have joined the Aug NSD challenge. Aiming for 12 with 4 in a row. I will also be joining in properly with the Swagbucks challenge this month. Had SBTV on in the background this morning whilst doing the bank application, need to get back on!PAID OFF FEB 2014 - £62.00
