Hello
Last week was unusually spendy as OH had few days off work to spend some time with me before I start new job.
Had a couple of meals out (1 tastecard & 1 local special offer).
Friday, Sat, Sun - work for me.
Thur & Fri - new job induction.
Meals from home over the weekend, but yesterday picked up sub (large 1 half each for lunch (today).
On that note spent £6 on lunch @ induction. Luckily everyone else has mentioned they are likely to bring food in once started properly.
Yesterday I made pasta with spicy chicken with sauce from jar. Also managed to make pud from what we had in (expected not to be able to without eggs).
Cap 1 payment & orange come out today (covered).
OH cancelled old contract yesterday (earliest he could do it).
I have joined the make £10 a day thread & am posting about net bits & pieces on there.
Need a couple of things this week - work trousers & shoes, conditioner, card and bday present (nephew - 5:eek:). Will also need some food lol!
Updated address on Very as account is active & had previous on.

I spent £12 ish in Mr A on food and OH went to Mr S for some other stuff £16 ish.
We went for a walk about 30 mins but was a lovely dayand checked out another place on way back.
£20 spend on fuel (for OH work etc). Small parking charge.
Fish (from freezer), peas (from cupboard) and potatoes for tea. With parsley sauce at least 6 months "out of date". Followed by pud made day before.

Hey
Erm...
Yesterday - Work, lunch from home, pasta with sausage & sauce for t which was nice, quick & easy (& cheap!). Portion left over plus some pasta sauce LO. OH went shopping for some ingredients for cooking/stuff we had run out of like teabags
Monday - 2 loads of washing airdryed. Jackets with chilli from freezer for tea & other meals from home.
Sun - Work. OH pub. Random food from home for OH for tea & lovely omelette for brekkie (using same pork & fresh bread (for toast) from day before). I had ham sarnies for work & OH toom what was left for sarnies next day.
Sat - Visited OH daughter. Gave some money for bday. Did not spend much during day, card, fuel, snacks, some bread & pasta for lunch (much cheaper & better for us then McDs etc). OH went out for a while. Went to shop later & had 2 drinks together. OH made sarnies with chicken breast, pork loin and fresh bread which was lovely.
Friday - Went to the pub (!!) Only went to our local and a cheap pub. Had chinese which I actually enjoyed (was not great when had for first time in ages week before. The OH ate all his which I was suprised it as did I which I was not. Sent my nephew some gifts.
Thursday - Sent nephew a card. Struggling to remember much more than that though.
At some point last week OH cooked rice that we had with salad and chicken - he had tried it before but turned out much better.
One night we had chicken in pasta & sauce then OH went to the pub for football.
Our hoover broke(we have been using it all time we have been together over 3 years but it was his mums so has been used before that). OH ordered a new one from Very (not ideal but he refused to live without one
)
2 more bdays next month then I don't think any til OH's in Nov (funny year as special family bdays). & a possible family engagement do! Need, need, need to be more organised (1/2 my problem).
Last week was quite mixed, this week seems to be going quite well.
Managed to make £22 Very payment using apps/SB money mainly.
Today -
Meals from home for us both. OH managed to fit a slice of toast in before work (& 1/2 a cup of tea which I later decided to drink).
On that note order him new mug from Mc VIP as always uses same one & therefore is washed often.
Work later.
Internet bits.
To do - get off MSE & get bum in gear

Using food up before buying more - i.e yesterday made 4 portions of pasta using slightly less than usual, but still enough & bulked out with mushrooms that had seen better days.
