  • Hey :D

Today should have all gone wrong but hasn't :D:D:D

I somehow managed to switch my alarm off last night but luckily OH checked (which he never does) and put it on for me.

And the train I get was cancelled but I mangaged to get the one before - I am paranoid when it comes to time but even I don't usually leave as early as I did today.

    Had free drink at work.

Moved money for travel next Sat into account used for that - have not moved rest yet seeing if get a rota first.

Plans - cuddle up on sofa and wacth Sheldon and sleep if I need to and can get to sleep, have some lunch from home, little swagbucks & extra pub shift tonight.

    It's also payday :)

  • Know hours for when back from holiday now so have set away travel money until next payday :D Also a bit iffy about what time i should leave - so I have covered the most expensive each day :)

Am about to send an application for a local full time job (just sent it the OH to re-read/check over).

OH looks on track for some overtime which will go into November pay :)

  • Hmm

So yesterday - work in day followed by work in evening :) Not much chance to go wrong - did buy hair dye on offer in Wilkcos (3.50).

Ate at home - mince beef over chips with cheese at 1am :D

Did have a couple of drinks after work on Fri though. And OH had bought Chinese! - Although he it was £6.20 - which was half the usual spend & enough for both of us easily so he says that's the one to go for in future, ah well it's a start

Today - Not doing anything really :D apart from making sure all stuff is together for next week

OH going work few hours Mon & Fri so needs one less day off :)

    Got Swagbucks on :)

Will dye my hair - first time I have ever done it myself

What I have done today between other stuff is read the debt free roll of honour thread - love reading it :D:D:D

Think I will check Slice for fashion stuff.

Enough of my witterings for now :)

  • My hair looks okay :j

Ok so there's a bit at the front where it looks as if I could applied it better which I am sure is more noticeable to me than to other people but generally it just looks highlighted and the colour has taken really well (it was higlighted the last time I had it coloured about May time).

I think that with practice I could get it looking really good myself and it looks loads better than it did before now and has not turned green or not changed :D

Not quite the same as going to the hairdressers but actually an alternative I am very pleased with and happy to stick to (which is a relief as I thought I might struggle)!

  • Hey :D

Am back - did not feel guilty about spending and then never return :p

Holiday was gone although not as planned. Was a spendy one mainly on food and drink and fuel although kept some of habits up. Went to 2 day time cinema showings including on Orange Weds, tried to only have meal/food once a day, went out late in the day etc. I also admit to SB polls/NOSO & onepoll on occassion :o

Applied for a full time job Friday. OH worked few hours from home meaning he did not need fuel to get in. Stayed in at night. Had pasta and garlic bread pizza from freezer. Order first pressie using SB

Yesteday - work day, work at night. Covering a shift on one of my days off next week. Been offered another night shift every week starting in a few weeks also. OH stayed in all day.

Today - had a burger king :o using vouchers - £7.00 for too meals but they charged us 80p for cheese  will add my own next time.

Got sausages defrosting. Am about to apply for a full time job at a charity :D

  • Hi :)

    (Hopefully) a quick update.

Last night - OH went out, I stayed in read & half watched Sheldon (not at the same time)! Felt down & fed up partly b/c there is always annoying things wrong with me - pain that is irritating but not serious often all at once or there is one thing after another and partly because I was tired & just did not feel myself - hopefully will pass soon - felt a bit carp this morning but feel better after a shower, cuppa and some painkillers

Last night OH had soup for tea. I was past it but I had a snickers earlier in night & had had a burger king so am hardly going to starve.

I had a quick shower last night and did not wash my hair - saving on time/water and products because I have got into the awful habit of washing & blowdrying daily and my hair does not look good for it.

Got silly 4 hour shift to do later. Will go for latest train I can get so can used railcard - does stress me a little but will get there if is on time or not too late and I have 3 of these shifts this week - & work will not stress if I am not there bang on time - just me.

Sorry for the moany post - but this is MSE - cheaper than therapy :p

    So today -

    :) Will use railcard
:) Will work 4 hour shift - am glad to have a job really & as OH says at least its a short day
:) Will have sausages for tea
:) Am working early tomorrow so will have an early night
:) I have SB on while I am here

  • Hey :D

Feeling myself apart from a few niggles which is a relief :)

Had sausage egg & chips last night - seen as we were eating like children lots of red sauce :)

OH spent just over £10 in Sainsbugs buying stuff like bread & milk & stuff to go with what we have in. Also meant he did not have to pay for parking (he needed to go to another shop at the same place as that Sainsbugs)

    Have worked today.

    Have had free drink.

Spends = 0.30p on painkillers & work tickets.

Got two more silly 4 hour shifts 2moz & next day - but may need to stay tomorrow.

Have interview at Mr.A later in week (which I only vaguely remembered applying for).

    Have done 1poll & VO.

    Have got SB on.

Had slice of toast at breakfast & pasta when I got home.

Got 1st load of washing on & need to do another.

    Need to sort out kitchen.

Need to do an online test.

I had visions of me coming home and cuddling up on the sofa :rotfl:

Have just put SB vids on
Had payment from Am for textbook - onto CC - awaiting payment for another - as soon as I thought I would not get rid & looked into book buying places they both sold!
    Checked onepoll - nothing available.

Need to update Spend diary on here when I have a little more time.

Yesterday - did online test, little cleaning, tidying, OH watched non-exsistent match, we had chicken nuggets, chips and beans - more children's food :D (disclaimer when I was little I was fed 'proper' food most of the time).
