I can't think of a witty name for my diary

Hi Everyone.
Just need somewhere to help motivate me and also I do a lot of surveys etc. but don't really record it all, which I think would be useful.
I have always preferred to start things on a Monday or the 1st of the month because I am a bit of a freak like that :rotfl:but let's face it Friday's are nicer. I don't have massive debts just a small credit card and a £1500 (interest free) overdraft.
However, I would like to tackle my overdraft. I am also job hunting at the moment, so was going to wait until I had some money coming in to do this but I figured it would be better to start now and my job hunting will be part of this diary and my journey.
So for now I am going to transfer 1p a day into my overdraft account so it keeps in my mind and also I think the figure going down will motivate me and I will be more likely to carrying on doing it with bigger amounts when I can.

Good luck with the job hunt and with repaying the overdraft. Do you mind if I ask if there's a time limit on your 0% overdraft? It would be great to pay it off before you get charged.
By the way I can sympathise with your thread title. You can see I had a similar problem when I signed up for the forums and had to choose a user name!0 -
Thank you very much
There are 3 years before interest starts being charged (graduate account). So hopefully, plenty of time!

Good luck with the interviews! Keep us posted. Once you have an idea of your income over the next few years you should be able to pay off your overdraft £500 a year.0

Hey,
I paid off my student overdraft this month. It was also £1500 and wasn't being charged interest, but mentally I needed it gone so I could concentrate with my other debts. Also, I had that when I was at uni in 2007!
Good luck with your journeyDEBT FREE SINCE 25.07.14!

Thank you very much.
I will keep you posted!
£500 a year is less than £1.40 per day, so your right once I am working I should be able to clear it easily within 3 years or sooner.
Well done on paying it off :T
I know what you mean about it being psychological I need to pay it off otherwise I will just ignore it for 3 years!

Hi Guys!
Well yesterday certainly could have gone better!
I was late for the first interview  due to getting lost. So annoyed at myself first time I have ever been late for an interview. Even more annoying as the actual interview seemed to go pretty well!
And the second one I did not feel properly prepared despite having done lots of work on it. I just did not feel I had enough time to develop ideas and practice enough. Suppose everyone else had the same though.
Oh well, moving on and keeping positive. In a good mood (must be the sunshine) and I am going to a "recruitment event" - i.e group interview tomorrow.
Have a good day everyonePAID OFF FEB 2014 - £62.00

Also, just had a response from an agency regarding some part time warehouse work I had applied for, didn't get it as I don't have experience, although they did say there was a possibility more vacancies can come up. At least I am know registered with them and they have been keeping in touch.PAID OFF FEB 2014 - £62.00
