  • Went to zumba last night

Was quite fun & booked to go again tonight

Stayed in and watch a film on netflix last night :D I'm impressed I stayed awake through it.

No spends for me yesterday and OH spends pasta from Asda for work for next few days.

Had aldi pasta (verdit - pasta is pasta) & tuna for lunch. Had aldi corn beef pasty, chips and peas (verdict - OH said would be nicer if there was actually some corned beef/filling in it, I thought that when I started eating it at first but turned out ok and tasted good). My idea as OH was mock horrified about having no tins of beans in the house. Pack of 3 so cooked other 1 aswell - suggested to OH for todays lunch would have been a good idea but he has pasta - though he can use it today with rest of chips (need to stop eating chips everynight ). When we thought about this I even saved the lo gravy too :D.

I had a teacake for breakfast again (very nice) and have just had pasta with some chicken - Asda chosen by you - first thing I have found fault with in that range chinese one tastes like ainseed - weird so I thought I would use it up. Have worked, no other spends than getting to work so far.

  • Hey :D

Spends for me yesterday = train work & OH = diesel & choccy bar each :D

Did not go to zumba :o

Did not do much, had an early night.

OH had LO pasty, chips & peas & I had roasties with peas - Aldi roasties = :D

    Today -

    Worked
Looks like OH had Teacake for brekkie
I had mash from freezer with paprika for lunch
Planning on pasta tonight (yesterdays date on it) and pizza at some point - need to get garlic bread & beans

Phoned phones4u - a little better but still not great - going to phone bank might see how far I got.

Done daily comps. Done a couple of onepoll surveys.

Trying to work out the Orange u24 thing still.

Need to see if I can send a phone bill from previous contract for cashback.

    :D

  • Actually bought what I set out to buy in Morrisons - spent £3. Bought 2 tins of beans & 2 garlic breads as were on offer - picked up another garlic bread out of the range but then ended up putting it back as the one I bought was better value :D

Had a look in superdrug if there was anything interesting but looked like the good stuff had gone in two I went to, also looked in the works but did not buy anything.

Sent off a cashback letter - used stamp and envelope from home - always worked okay this way and would be cheaper to send again than to go recorded and there is time to do that.

Had pasta and garlic bread as planned with red wine for OH.

Payday tomorrow - not very exciting too much to pay out for atm!

  • Friday - quite MSE - train tix plus 25p @work and cheap tea of pizza and beans - £2 for pizza and 50p for beans for 2 of us, yucky day though so I have written that one off.

Yesterday - work, bought tickets, had free drink, spent £7 in Sainsbugs on wine and sweets/choc then went out anyway - but didn't spend too much & accidently avoided proper food all day!!

    Today a good day :D

OH reduced old mobile phone contracts to cheapest available
I added u24 to both our plans (OH well over 24  but in my name)
Pasta (£2.50) with yesterdays date on and garlic bread (£1) from freezer for lunch
Been to Morris and Sainsbugs - less than £20 for both shops (OH took £5 off nectar card)
    Done daily comps

    Also, ordered buzzsoc box earlier

    Think OH had a mini-lighbulb moment :T
Did not think that would happen!!
Actually added up outgoings (before food and going out) compared to income, reduced the contracts, told me to reduce the others as soon as I can to take account the new allowances, is watching F1 highlights at home, was careful with the food shopping and bought a different brand of mouthwash (this is unheard of). Also said to me at some point you appreciate money a bit more once you start having difficulties so appears to be learning  :D:D:D

Did suggest a Next account to me though as could get £40 if spent £50...

Got cup of tea using water from last night

Hand washing work stuff. Did one load of washing last night - trying to use less liquid.

Got my shopping wrong yesterday was actually just over £20.

Tried aldi diet orange (verdict - found it very sodary)

Wacthed film on freeview last night.

Had cobs with chicken (with day befores date) for tea.

Made tuna & cut cucumber from home for OH for work last night as he is there early.

Checked if any cheaper train tickets.

Work. Pay for tickets from budget allocated :D

OH says he may order a buzzsoc box when more stuff comes out/is in stock if still can.

    That's all for now.

So now have a nice cup of tea to make my world better - wine would have been a suitable alternative have bottle in fridge but won't drink over next couple of days so won't open it
Don't need to order train tix for mums as she is picking me up
OH has interest free loan from work - aiming to cut payday loans out completely...
However, OH has gone to the pub...
Food for tonight is going to be - sfc breast (aldi), beans (50p) and chips (not great for waistlines but cheap and theres always some in freezer - least we did not have any last night for a change).
Hopefully will get chance to do some MSE bits/update some threads tonight.
